Enjoying my morning cup of coffee before heading downstairs for some cardio.
I am a bit of a chocoholic and have always loved mochas, but rarely drink them beca...use of the added sugar. I have tried MANY times to try and add chocolate protein to my coffee but it would never mix, and always end up floating on the top(gross). I am extremely EXCITED to say that chocolate Quattro mixed amazingly!!
Add 2 Tbsp. to your morning cup of joe and you will have a sugar free mocha with an extra little people punch of protein.

Laying weighted toe touches....
Leg Raise with a Glute Raise on Decline Bench.
Ab Wheel or Barbell Roll Out.
Decline Sit Up with a Twist.
Compete all exercises for 4 sets of 20 reps.

Pina Colada Shake ☀️ Ingredients:
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk ...
1 tbsp. coconut oil
½ cup crushed pineapple in juice
½ frozen banana
1 scoop Vanilla Ice Cream Quattro by @hardmagnum
½ tsp. rum extract
1. Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. ***Do you always end up with over ripe bananas and don't want to waste them by throwing them out? Most people fail to activate the glutes correctly, or at all when exercising. This comes from sitting at a desk all day or just inactivity in general which lengthens and loosens the muscles. Not activating the glutes when exercising can cause stress on the surrounding muscles and joints (low back, hips, knees and even ankles ) leading to a higher possibility of injury.

Snuck in a quick workout before heading out adventuring for the day. I packed my bands just in case the gym wasn’t up to par, but I was happy to see it was pretty decent.
I started with some banded hip raises to activate the glutes, then moved into cable squats, straight leg deadlifts, frog thrusts, cable kickbacks and reverse hypertension’s.
Now time for the beach! 🏖

Quattro Fudge anyone!?
makes 16-20 squares
3/4 cup peanut butter (no salt or sugar added)...
3/4 cup organic honey
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup Magnum Nutraceuticals Quattro chocolate protein powder
1/3 cup pecans, roughly chopped
1/3 cup dates, pitted
Line an 8×8 inch pan with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
Roughly chop the dates and roll each of the date pieces into individual small balls.
In a sauce pan over medium-high heat combine the honey, peanut butter and vanilla. Whisk mixture together until smooth and thin, about 5 minutes. Turn off heat and stir in the protein powder. Add in pecans and dates and mix until incorporated. Pour the mixture into the prepared 8×8 inch pan. Cover and freeze until firm, about 30 minutes. Allow to slightly thaw at room temperature before cutting into 16 squares.
Store fudge squares in the freezer and thaw for 5 minutes before eating.

I am feeling yesterday’s leg day. Sitting, squatting, well, pretty much moving in general hurts 😂 (just ask my clients, I was a huge whiner all day, but I got no sympathy...I wonder why 🤔).
Here’s the exercises I incorporated into my workout, all of these are amazing for building the glutes! Add a few into your routine and your 🍑 will thank you.
Banded body weight hip raises (focus on the squeeze!)...
Banded barbell hip raises
Single leg deadlifts
Single leg press
Single leg stand ups (pistol squats off bench)
Frog hip raises
Heels elevated banded goblet squats
Banded monster walks
Banded side shuffles
A little something to remember for those who have recently set fitness goals in the new year.
Extreme isn't better, and nothing good comes out of completely depriving yourself. Although compromises have to be made when you are trying to create new habits, the process still have to be enjoyable for you to stick with it.
Work hard, be healthy but remember a little chocolate and wine once in a while is not the end of the world You only get one life, make it a good one!

I completely fell in love with Acai Berry Bowls when I was in Hawaii, so I decided to create my own using some delicious vanilla Magnum Nutraceuticals Quattro. ...If you need a high carb meal before leg day(or a recovery meal)I suggest you give this a try!
Quattro Acai Berry Bowl
*makes 2 servings*
2 packs of Sambazon Acai purée
1 cup organic coconut water
1 scoop vanilla Quattro
1/2 apple diced
1/2 banana diced
1/2 cup granola
2 tbsp. hemp hearts
2 tbsp. chia seeds
2 tbsp. organic honey
1/4 cup coconut ribbons
Vegan Coconut Meringue
1 can coconut cream chilled over night
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. agave nectar
Your can of coconut cream should have chilled over- night. If it hasn't yet then you will need to let it have this time. Once chilled open and drain off fluid. Scoop out the thick cream. Add the rest of the ingredients ( agave and vanilla) and whip with beaters until smooth. Place back in the fridge for 5 minutes.
Combine Acai purée, protein and coconut water in blender and blend until smooth.
Divide mixture evenly between 2 bowls and then top with fruit, granola, hemp hearts and chia seeds. Remove coconut meringue from fridge and divide evenly on top. Drizzle with honey and top with coconut ribbons.
