Cake Canvas - happiness in a box added 13 new photos to the album: Padmaavat — with Shahid Kapoor and 4 others.

Let's Dream Together - The Collab in pairs is the brainchild of Rosa Guerra, a talented artist who helms the Tartas Oh by Rosa.
The collaboration aims to bring together multifarious talents from across the world to work together in a project which can only be furnished by two or three people. Tina Scott Parashar and I were pitted together for this exhilarating collaboration and going by our common roots, we chose to take inspiration from the latest flamboyant Bollywood block...buster "Padmaavat" As soon as we decided on the subject, we knew that we were spot on with our theme. The beautiful Rajput costumes and jewellery complimented the athletic beauty of the warrior clan. The cloths are colourful with intricate patterns, the accessories expensive and their manner represents centuries of cultured upbringing.
In our case, 2800 kilometres as the crow flies separates Tina who is stationed in Dubai and me settled in Kochi, India. Modern tech and social media helped us bridge the gap and begin work on the piece.

We decided that Tina would make Raja Maharawal Ratan Singh played by Shahid Kapoor and I would make the Queen Padmavati played by Deepika Padukone. It took us over a month of discussing and sharing information and another week to assemble the final version of the Royal Rajput couple resplendent in their royal couture.
Here's our salute to a royal couple who united two women from across the globe to embark on a great journey of art to create a cake sculpture like never attempted before. For the Raja holds his court in far away Dubai while his queen is reigning over India with her beauty. A couple who shall never meet in life .... ever. But for the technical wizardry of Johan Vadayatt who made it possible for all to see them together, the wonderful collaboration which made the twain meet and lastly, in the minds of you, the beholder.
