Hello lovelies! Popping in to share a really pretty drip cake from last week done in cream and rose gold to match the colour scheme of the party, topped off with meringues and a lovely topper provided by the birthday girl's sister add to that a set of 12 matching cupcakes, and there we go, all the party essentials! Good morning! Been busily finishing the first of three pretty Christmas roses (hellebore) for my other half's mum's birthday cake, love how this turned out 😍 please excuse the cat yelling in the background, he's just come back in and is trying to con me into a second breakfast 😂 I'll be moving onto making a unicorn for today's cake, then I'll do some more on the Christmas roses this evening. Enjoy your Tuesday, may it be warm, successful and Christmassy 😊

I ordered a unicorn birthday cake from Rachel to celebrate my niece's birthday as well as mine. She did an amazing job and I wouldn't think of going elsewhere in the future for our cake needs.

The re…d velvet filling was lovely and moist. Rachel gave us exactly what we wished for, with professional and efficient service! It's a credit to just how good Rachel is at what she does and you'd be mad not to have your cake made by such a lovely lady. Afficher la suite

I have ordered two cakes in the past 2 months & they’ve both been amazing.
First was a postman pat & second was a 70th.
70th cake was stunning, in presentation & taste, had so many comments on how bea…utiful it was.

Can’t wait to order in October & next year.

Gorgeous cake made for my daughter's 10th birthday. Great communication, ready on time (in fact, at short notice managed to make it 3 days earlier than original date for which I am super grateful for!…). Tasted lovely, and I will definitely get cakes made from Rachel's Cakes again. Had a cake made 3 months earlier elsewhere and I was very disappointed. Won't make that mistake again! Afficher la suite

Hi Rachel just wanted to say the cake has been amazing! Everyone loves it, I’ve given lots of slices out more than worth the money! It’s so moist and tastes perfect! Like no other cake, it’s Tuesday t…oday there’s a tiny bit left and it’s still super fresh! I’ve handed some of your leaflets out and every one has commented on it saying it is literally the best chocolate cake they’ve had and nobody else round here is quite like yours! Not sickly in the slightest perfect mix, I usually can’t stand any part of cake icing but I’ve eaten loads of that! �

A belated thank you very much for the amazing wedding cake you made for my wedding day on 29/04. It was perfect and every detail was exactly what I wanted and it tasted amazing!
Rachel is a lovely pro…fessional person who makes amazing cakes and will cater to exactly what you want even it means putting a great big chocolate skull on top of a wedding cake.

This is the third year that Rachel has made my son's birthday cake and as usual, the cake is amazing! Not only does it look fantastic but it tastes delicious! Everyone at his party thought it was bril…liant and the kids had eaten their pieces before they even left the party! The only problem was that we didn't want to spoil it by cutting it up! I loved the fact that I gave Rachel a load of ideas (not being too specific) and she came up with exactly what I wanted! We asked Rachel for a Minion cake for Evie's 6th Birthday having read great things and seen the pictures. We gave a brief and a few ideas along with flavour choices for the two tier cake.

We have had… a cake made the previous 5 years by other local cake makers.

We can honestly say this was the best and by quite some distance. The cake looked amazing and tasted fabulous. Both chocolate and vanilla flavoured cakes were devoured by both children and adults alike.

We have been using rachels for around three years now with my daughter finding her to make a gluten free cake for my grandsons birthday. I have by previous experiemce been wary of cake that looks fan…tastic as the interior isn't often up to much. This has never been the case with rachels whether using gf or standard flour. Over the years we have had cup cakes birthday cakes and a cake to celebrate the opening of our new premises at work. I have never been disappointed and am often asked where the cake came from and are stunned by the lower than expected price. Our joint cake had two layers i took my half to the pub to celebrate with my friends last night. Many were upset that they could only have a piece from one layer. Afficher la suite

I ordered cup cakes and a birthday cake for my daughter Francesca's 21st Birthday. The service Rachel provided was first class, the cup cakes looked and tasted delicious! I came across Cakes at Rachel's by chance while looking for a cake for my sons christening and I am so glad I did, we were definitely not disappointed.

I'd seen a cake Rachel had already made for her… grandson that I loved and sent a couple of pictures of others I had seen. Rachel was brilliant in making suggestions to combine aspects from each to make my sons cake. The finished cake was better than I could have imagined, it looked fantastic and tasted amazing. So many people at the christening asked me where the cake was from and said it was the best fruit cake they had ever tasted. It was such a shame to have to cut it up! Thank you so much for the beautiful birthday cake you made for our joint birthday party. The cake was, as always, delicious... one tier of chocolate and one of lemon. I don't know how you do it but …they were perfectly light and so full of flavour and the decoration was just outstanding... especially the travel collage with printed edible icing - all of our guests were impressed!
