Flexibility is certainly part of the puzzle in accelerating women’s leadership in the workplace. Studies by Werk and Harvard Business Review show that 70% of women who dropped out of the workplace would still be working if they still had flexibility, and that employees who are given the autonomy to work flexibly are happier, more productive, and less likely to quit.
