Early Voting for the July 26th Runoff for District 5 School Board begins on July 5th at the Board of Registrars' Office in Woodbine (Historic Courthouse). Early voting will continue Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5PM until July 22nd. There is no Saturday voting. The Runoff election for District 5 School Board is between Mark Giddens and Ronnie Wise. District 5 includes most voters in Precincts 4-Browntown, 6-West Kingsland, 7-Kingsland and 8-North Kingsland. Camden County Solid Waste hosted a group of 4-H students over spring break to help install duck boxes around one of the landfill ponds. The materials and supplies were generously donated by Mr. Murray Griffin of Atlantic Coast Consulting.

At last night's Board of Commissioners meeting, Brian Shoun, the Department of Resources (DNR) State Community Rating System (CRS) Coordinator presented Scott Brazell, Camden County CRS Coordinator, with a plaque recognizing Camden County's Class Six Rating.
