Nice times at Tyalgum Music Festival last night, including music by
Connor D'Netto, and a revisit (musically) to Paronella Park with Michael Patterson's Pieza da Paronella, an emotional rendition of Bloch's Prayer by Adelaide Symphony Orchestra lead cellist Simon Cobcroft (there with Lyrebird Trio), and bringing the house down were these two Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University students, Xenia Puskarz Thomas and Anna Stevens (pictured) in their stunning performance of Delibes' Flower Duet (arranged by Queensland Symphony Orchestra's Craig Young -- himself a former member of Camerata). Congrats to Anna McMichael, Eve Newsome and the great Tyalgum team!
