Have you seen our new menu and course plan?

I had Dark Wheat and Bitter and both were really nice- Cheers 🍻 See More
Really is fantastic stuff to drink, each vat shows what it is composed of with the malt, hops and colour rated on each container. There is draught Aspall cider on tap but it has been exported (I presume) from the UK into the country so it isn't cheap. I was happy enough though as proper cider is a hard thing to find in Japan.
I must note that this bar serves proper pints and I mean proper UK pints where
the ale/cider is filled right up to the top of the glass. Hands up who is fed up of seeing a pint of lager with a 2 inch head served in most Japanese run bars?
The staff are very friendly, spent time speaking with George who was behind the bar. With the help of one of the regulars (Masato) I got to see how my name was spelt in Kanji, many thanks to both of you guys for that.
The bar is about a 10 minute walk from the Senso-ji temple and the nearby Asakusa station and under 5 minutes from the Asakusa (Tsukuba Line) station.
I know of one place I'll definitely be visiting again on my next trip to Japan, aftera all, I now have a stamp book that needs filling up to get my free pint. See More
