We picked Campo after walking the River Walk and looking at all the menus. Plus a friend recommended we try it. Glad we did. Service was friendly and welcoming. They let us choose our own table. Made... some great recommendations. The owner stopped by our table and engaged in a nice conversation. We had a great dinner and dessert. Finished the night with a tour of the kitchen by Chef David Holman. We are new to living in Reno. Nicest people! We will be back and bring our friends. See More

The chef’s tasting menu and table side presentation was absolutely incredible. Exceptional service, a great wine list and the passion for exceptional food product radiates from all of the service sta...ff. This is a must-hit restaurant for my annual trip to Reno. See More

Great Atmosphere and amazing food. The Chef made me Risotto with Shrimp and Scallops which was not on the menu. It was so good. The portion was huge. The dessert was just as good.

Over priced, small portions
Wait staff was busy with personal conservation,
The two of you should just hook up so you can end the tension and do your jobs. Did I say $$$$

I went with a large group for my birthday dinner. I loved loved loved this place but the food last night was very disappointing, as was service. The kale salad is usually delicious. This time it was v...ery oily and you could barely taste the lemon in the vinaigrette. My steak was small and underwhelming. The best part of my meal was the fried polenta. Others in my party were disappointed as well. Great company was what saved the night. It seems like they have a new kitchen manager or chef because it's really changed a lot. See More

Waited 40 mins after we were told 20 and there were countless tables open while we stood there and waited, and the food was a major disappointment. Please don't advertise yourself as an "Italian resta...urant" when you have NO parmesan cheese and NO red pepper on the tables, or when you offer NO Italian bread and you don't have any Italian dressing to speak of in your restaurant. And the meal itself was bland at best. See More

First we were told it would be a 20 min wait for an outside table. No biggie we head to the bar grab a drink and wait outside. There were 3 tables cleared and set as we sat there waiting to be seated.... I go in and ask the hostess how much longer and she says 5 mins. Wait another 20 mins and finally get seated at one of the tables that was empty for 30 mins. Now the food...... Absolutely no taste to the sauce and meatballs. Very, very bland. And what type of Italian restaurant DOESNT have grated cheese and hot pepper on the table ? Not to mention NO BREAD. Sorry folks but the experience there was terrible. I loved my vacation out west however this was the worst meal I ever had. Can't wait to get back to Upstate NY for some real Italian food. Next time I'm out this way I'll try La Famiglia. Heard that place is fantastic. That was our first choice but they were closing when we arrived....... See More

Ate here for the first time yesterday. The food was pretty good I had the spaghetti and meatballs, very tasty! Meatballs were a tad on the spicy side though so I can do without that. Great location ho...wever, I enjoyed how they served water in vases. I wasn't too impressed with the service, they were very slow and our waiter took forever to get back to us, my boyfriend had to wait what seemed like 20 minutes before he could place his order. Also, they served us garlic bread that was doughy and undercooked, very nasty! Needless to say, the place is cute overall, a bit on the expensive side, but we enjoyed our experience as a whole. Just not sure if we'll be back or not. See More

My wife Lisa and I took our two oldest sons to Campo while dropping them off for their first semester of college at UNR. It was a great experience beginning to end and helped soften the blow a bit. 5 stars!

The food was pretty good aside from my meatballs being slightly too spicy. My only major complaint was the service. When we first got there it didn't take long to get seated, and then our waiter took ...forever to get back to take my order since I took a little longer to decide what I wanted. My girlfriend actually had to catch someone else to go find our waiter in order for me to get my food ordered. Overall I would recommend you go here for the food, but not for the service. See More

We sat outside to enjoy the view of the Truckee river. Between the 4 of us, we had ordered pizza and two different pasta dishes. One pasta dish was very bland. The spaghetti and meatballs just ok. How...ever, the pizza was the best. Totally worth the money and I will be back. The service was excellent. Delaina was amazing in every way. See More

I've gone to campo countless times over the last few years, it's actually a favorite spot to take candidates being interviewed for potential job offers. Yesterday's service and food was a major disap...pointment. Excuses that a reset of the registers resulted in all waffle orders being deleted, and when it came out they were undercooked and soggy. Runny quiche. Pizza that was a pool of sauce. Three requests and a half hour wait just to get tea spoons. Management ended up removing most items from the bill, but it was a huge disappointment for a Mother's Day brunch. See More

Food and service was good but, at those prices, I expect better than just good. Pork belly appetizer was amazing.

The waitress was friendly however we had to ask for water. I ordered a GF (an option on the menu) personal margarita pizza add chicken & my husband ordered a hamburger. It took over 30 min for our to come out. A man brought the food and said "this is the pizza with ALL of the stipulations". Gluten free was an option on their menu so it was just one... add chicken. The pizza didn't even have basil on it. The meal was way over priced for the quality. Its too bad because the location is perfect to have a nice lunch out by the river. See More

We came in at 545p thinking that was enough time to make the show at the Pioneer Center at 730p. Service was very slow. Took 15 minutes to get our drinks. Then, soup came 15 minutes later. 2nd rou...nd of drinks were also delayed. We finally got entrees at 705p, over an hour after ordering and had to hurry eating to make our show. We saw several other people in the same situation.

Don't go to Campo unless you have no other plans afterwards. The food might be good but service killed the experience.

I was really looking forward to finally trying this place I've heard womderful things but ended up very disappointed. Service was friendly but hardly saw our actual waiter and had to ask for the check... after being done for 20 minutes. Took 30 minutes to receive our food. We ordered a rare New York steak and the salmon. Ended up with a very well done rib eye and an under cooked salmon. Good flavor just not what we ordered and not how you want your salmon unless it's sushi. I love going out to eat and go out often almost always giving good reviews but this establishment doesn't deserve any kind words from my experience. See More

I come there with a friend on a semi-regular basis due to Campos proximity to the Riverside movie theater. They insist on seating you by the cold window instead of those nice booths that are somehow ...never available. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes the salads are big, sometimes small. Sometimes the gniocci is perfect, other times undercooked, tasting like raw flour and swimming in oil. Meh. See More

Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed Easter Brunch out on the patio, our server made some great suggestions from the menu that were terrific. There Bloody Mary was a good suggestion.

Thoroughly mediocre customer service today. Don't know the name of our waitress (she never introduced herself). The food though was excellent. We highly recommend the pizza of the day!
