Last week, PEN America was delighted to co-present a talk and Q&A on the Life & Work of Albert Camus with the Center for the Study of Transformative Lives at Ne...w York University.
This event, featuring Elizabeth Hawes, author of biography 'Camus: A Romance,' and historian and curator Stephen Petrus, is part of a series of events commemorating the 70th anniversary of Albert Camus’ first and only trip to the United States and New York City. Many thanks to all who attended, and to Elizabeth Hawes for speaking about her pursuit of Camus, and his impact on readers.
