Today is the last day of Indie Craft Experience - Summer 2016! They are not only the Candler Park Fall Fest artist market partner, but a wonderful addition to the Candler Park neighborhood, offering crafting / cooking classes and events around the city all year round! Make sure to stop by and catch all of the VERY talented artists / makers that will be at this event! 11-6pm today at the Georgia Freight Depot! So many of Fall Fest's artists will be there too, so it's a great way to spread your spending out over the whole year.

2nd Annual Centennial BBQ & Beer Tasting – Save the Date!

Lake Claire Neighbors will be hosting its 2nd Annual Centennial BBQ on Sunday, June 5th from 2pm – 5pm... in the Cator Woolford Gardens at the Frazer Center.

This year in addition to award winning BBQ provided by David Gelin and Wayne Germon, we will also be having a beer tasting courtesy of Candler Park Market. Also lots of kids activities, Miss Ladybug, silent auction, scavenger hunt, games, music, the most awesome neighbors on the planet, and fun!

Beer tasting wristbands are $10.
Root beer tasting wristbands are $1.
Fresh cut watermelon, lemonade, and water are complimentary courtesy of Lake Claire Neighbors.

Thanks to everyone who joined us last night for the CPNO Horizon Theatre showing of The City of Conversation. And...a BIG thanks to the Horizon Theatre Company for their generous support of CPNO! We had a great pre-party with friends and neighbors in our own private room before we headed upstairs to enjoy the play.

We will use the money generated from this event to continue to facilitate and sponsor projects that celebrate the spirit of Candler Park, past and present.

Curbed Atlanta is having a voting competition between neighborhoods and festivals and we want to show as much neighborhood pride as we can. After beating out the Decatur Arts Festival in round 1 of the competition we have moved on to the best of 8 and we are going up against the Grant Park Summer Shade Festival today. Curbed has just featured Fall Fest as a top 16 festival in Atlanta! Place a vote for Fall Fest in the first half of the bracket today, and the second half tomorrow, to determined the Elite Eight festivals of ATL on Thursday.

Neighbors! If you came to the Edelstein's last month, you met friends, had fun and possibly ate your weight in Silvia's incredible Spring Rolls (or was that just me?) I made new friends, met my daughter's new Spanish teacher (who I loved! Yay Mary Lin for this new hire!) and had a wonderful time.
