Don't forget about the Cape Marketeers Club garden activity this Saturday from 9-10am at the Shawnee Park Demonstration Garden! The garden is located at 836 SW End Blvd, and kids will receive a $5 token to spend at the Cape Riverfront Market whenever the activity is done!

The Cape Girardeau Community Gardens is hosting the Cape
Marketeers Club at the Shawnee Park Demonstration Garden located at 836 SW End Blvd. Saturday, October 1, from 9-10am.
Children ages 5-12 are invited to participate in a garden activity led by Ann Knight, Program Nutrition Associate from the University of Missouri. Kids will have the opportunity to dig sweet potatoes, learn about their nutritional benefits and taste them in a delicious snack. After participating in the activity, kids will receive $5.00 in tokens to purchase fruits and vegetables from the Cape Riverfront Market, so head over there when the activities are finished!
