An excellent place for modern American/Italian food. It can be noisy when the place is full, but the food is worth that annoyance.

This place never dissapoints. The calamari is the best Ihave EVER eaten, the grilled artichoke- YUM. The soup of the day was wonderful, just what I needed Everythuing was great

First time here. We had reservations for 6 people and our table was ready the second we walked into the door. Food was very good. The artichoke and calamari appetizers was outstanding. I absolutely love this restaurant! I went here back in August with a group of girlfriends for a meetup. It was our first time there and I found it online. I had the short rib with creamless corn and I... fell in love. This is coming into my top 3 or restaurants in Delaware. The vibe and the people are amazing. I've told so many people about it. I'll be coming back as a regular and bringing people with me! I was just here this past Friday for the short rib again. I'm hooked! See More

Advertised "homemade noodles" as per Delaware Mag. NOT!!!! Ordered Linguine and clams boxed linguine and a clam sauce that was "sweet" cannot get that terrible taste out of my mouth for hours. My husb...ands gnocchi was home made but overcooked MUSH. Appetizer of fried Calamari was cooked perfect but cream lemon sauce ruined it. Do not wish to go back. See More

Excellent. Were there for friends 54th Anniversary. Food was outstanding as was the service. I had the Chicken Piccata which is a favorite of mine. Perfect! The six of us will be back again soon. �

This is the first time I was not 100% satisfied. The dinner took a very long time to be served and my linguine with clams had just a few very small clams. The service by Vincent was great. The mana...ger was very helpful about wine. The hostess was friendly. See More

The food was good. But dining is about an experience, and unfortunately, every time I go to a Platinum restaurant, I have a terrible experience. To wit: tonight I was kept outside for 25 minutes after... my meal while the manager tried to come up with creative ways to call me a liar. I was trying to pay with a gift card that for some reason wasn't activated. After 25 minutes of trying to determine whether or not I was lying, the manager asked me to pay with a credit card, which I did. I then told him that, by the way, this gift card was given to me and my partner by a respected DE surgeon (why the manager never thought to ask me how I came upon the gift card is anyone's guess!). The manager then smiled and said, ah, he actually *remembered* the surgeon buying thousands of dollars worth of these gift cards — in fact, the manager was on duty when the surgeon bought them! "Thank God!" I thought. "Now the manager will finally make this right!" But no … because unfortunately, Platinum's management aren't always good at difficult things such as management. To my horror, the manager instructed me to *call* the surgeon, tell him the gift card he'd given me wasn't activated, tell him to dig out the receipt from Christmas, tell him to find time to bring it in and talk to the manager to inquire about what might have gone wrong with Platinum's outdated computer system, etc. This, by the way, on top of two rather odd dining experiences: two servers vocally fought over which would wait on us; and after our meals were brought to our table, we'd waited with bated breath for about four minutes for the luxury of silverware. My wife and I had a marvelous time at Capers & Lemons on 02-12-17.

We went there at the end of Sunday Brunch and could take advantage of the very well stocked Bloody Mary Bar....Delicious....

The food itself was excellent.
The atmospheric ambience was as tasteful as our entrees.

The service while, not the fastest, especially considering we were there at a crowdless time was very good, and our waiter Rick was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Rick was very helpful and the perfect representative of a finer class eatery.

For dessert we sampled the house Pistachio Gelato....The perfect round off of a perfect meal.

Lemons & Capers Italian Restaurant is the perfect place to sample fine food and drink with excellent, personable service that is surprisingly affordable......EC

We happened to be in this area as our RV needed some repair done. We were there around 2 pm and enjoyed our lunch greatly. We shared bruschetta that was wonderfully toasted at the right amount of ga...rlic with fresh tomatoes with right acidity and natural sweetness. Serving size was plenty. It went so well with a glass of procecco. My husband had a glass of Sangiovese - he said it lacked a bit bouquet but had wonderful taste of blackberry. Since we could not take our leftover portion home, we shared one bolognaise lasagna and red potato salad. We still could not finish the salad. Lasagna was very tasty with simple ragu with good aroma of oregano. Red potato salad was fresh with asparagus without overpowering mayo taste. Texture was perfect. It was nice that they served us shared portions nicely presented without an extra charge. We love to come again before heading back to home. See More

The Cosmo Blancos during Happy Hour are a must. The Braised Short Rib was absolutely wonderful. We had 8 at our table and each one ordered something different. The short ribs were a unanimous favorite....
Our waiter gave is plenty of time to decide & order. We never felt rushed and several times the manager stopped by to check on us.
We often travel from NC up to here and this is a must go. Never disappoints.

A little surprise Sunday date with my Hon. The moment we walked in, I was impressed! The decor and atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. Our server was super friendly and gave us outstanding service!... The calamari was the best that I have ever had, and our dinners were incredible. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the Braised Short Rib. I do not eat red meat, but his is plate looked so beautiful and I asked for a taste. The beef melted in my mouth. I enjoyed it so much he switched plates with me!! We shared a piece of the carrot cake for dessert........I am a Pastry Chef and I own my own bakery, I I have to say, that cake was AMAZING!!!!!

My brother John Stout was a member of the extended family of this wonderful restaurant. He was revered and loved by the entire staff as was evident at the celebration of life given in his honor. He un...expectedly passed away at the young age of 59. The owners Carl and Lisa and Their brother Nick along with Kelly planned and refused any payment for or gratuity for a reception for over 150 people ! It was so very heartfelt and amazing to witness the love and respect they and their staff( who volunteered ) during the celebration of John's life! Please frequent this and the 3 other restaurants as the food is amazing but the people are wonderful and you will leave wanting to return again and again!
Thank you from the Stout, Schapiro and Luthman families we will always be in awe of your kindness and hospitality!

Dined with the whole family last night for easter, our third visit. Phenomenal service despite the hustle and bustle of Saturday night. The chef and waitress accommodated for our little two year old d...aughters food allergies. They made her a burger and a piece of grilled chicken. We really appreciated the care that was taken for her. The food was delicious as always. I had the Cavatelli pasta, my favorite! The only thing I'd suggest is adding changing tables to your women's and mens restrooms. I had to change my five month old on the floor of the women's bathroom. All in all we love Capers and Lemons! Good food and atmosphere, but don't come if you have a baby or toddler. Their restrooms are not equipped with changing stations and when I asked about it, the hostess made me believe that they couldn'...t care less about it. Very disappointing. See More
