Capture The Dream is thrilled to announce the winner of our Dreams For 2017 49ers ticket giveaway. We had many great submissions including those who wished for safety in their communities, health for their families and opportunities for our most needy citizens. Of all of the qualified entries, Tony B was chosen to take a guest to see the San Francisco 49ers battle the Seattle Seahawks. Tony’s dream for 2017 was for more low-income youth to have access to technology training. ...This dream comes from Tony’s personal experience growing up without the financial advantages of his peers and finally reaching career success by teaching himself manufacturing and engineering that serve him well at a local hardware startup.
Tony was so grateful to see the game as he has always been a sports fan, but had never seen a game in person. He could not believe how great the tickets were and would like to thank Niner Fans, Bay Area Rooted and Capture The Dream for showing him and his girlfriend a great time on New Years Day.
Congratulations to our New Year's Dream Contest winner, Antonio Belmontes, whose dream for 2017 was to make tech education more accessible to Bay Area youth.

Meet Tan Vu who is our most recent recipient of the George Geng On Lee Minorities in Leadership Scholarship. Tan is studying at UC Berkeley and hopes to become a Filmmaker focusing on making films for the LGBTQ and Pacific Islander communities who have supported him throughout his journey. We are proud to help Tan and students like him capture their dreams.
We would like to congratulate our most recent Single Parent Scholarship Award winner, Maria Juarez. Maria is studying biology at UC Berkeley and is a great example of achieving your dreams in the face of challenges.
