What I fear is the destruction of our institutions and failing to acknowledge the threat socialism poses. My opponent believes that the problem in Cuba is Donald J. Trump - the problem is the socialist, communist regime. This is the kind of view she has of the world.

I love this country, it’s the land of opportunity. We reject socialism - it’s part of why I ran.
Last Tuesday, South Floridians overwhelmingly rejected socialism by electing Maria Elvira Salazar and myself. We understand what socialism does to a nation, and I look forward to working with her in Congress.
