NEWPORT — Emergency services and personnel from Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point found no explosives after responding Saturday to a bomb threat at the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market in Newport.

BREAKING: The Walmart Market in Newport has been evacuated due to a bomb threat. We are gathering more information.

12:44 p.m. update: The K9 unit has finished their sweep and found no explosive materials. Officials are conducting another walk through.

11:38 a.m. update: Our reporter on scene says multiple agencies have staged in response to the threat and a K9 unit has just arrived. ...
