I have great memories there. Aerosmith were wild although too many drugs there lots of kids getting sick Huey L and the News were fabulous the greatest best memory was in the back of my hatchback vega... with my true love us steaming up the windows and guys started trying to tip over the vega! Boyfriend jumped in drivers seat in his shorts and rescued us by driving off. What a venue miss Castle Farms. See More

The Castle was our Place..It was Where Us Northern Michigan kids could Rock. The tickets were reasonably priced,& the sound was great even Up on the hill in the grass!! If I could re-do my 70s & 80's... I'd go more often!! Now in my 60's I still miss the place!! See More

Saw many concerts over the years. Was able to go backstage and see Def Leppard without a pass or even a ticket. Also got to watch that concert from a balcony of the owner Art Reibels storage barn. Got... my car towed during ZZ Top concert, long story. Tons of memories with many friends. Great music. The Castle supplied the soundtrack to my teenage years. See More

Saw a handful of awesome concerts there. Puked in the parking lot but still had a great time. Wish I could go back.

Moody Blues during a rain storm... Tina Turner's long legs strutting down the catwalk stairs... And the time my friend politely declined back stage passes directly offered from Rod Stewart himself mor...ning of his concert when we were at a gas station on US31 in Elk Rapids... These just a few of the many colorful 5 star Castle Farm concert memories shared with dear friends and awesome strangers. See More

Who didn't love that place ? Everyone loved it and I had many great memories but the two that stand out is tipping a port-a- john over on a girl who cut in front of about 15 of us and she came out scr...eaming looking like a smurf .. Solid blue ... Another was powerstation I think in 1985 sitting on lawn as a 15 year old and my girlfriend giving me a BJ the entire show with many people cheering on and watching ... See More

Blue Oyster Cult was the first concert back in the 80's. My friend got the drumstick thrown into the crowd. We drank jungle juice.

It was the most comfortable place to see a concert.
Why places like this can't keep going is strange, great atmosphere for any concerts may be the location was not so favorfulll?

Been to many, many venues over the years. But the ONE stage that cannot be outdone by any other is Castle Farms! Long live the castle! A place where we all made history.

Best concert venue ever in the entire world. I have been around the world to know. Only thing close was a concert I saw ~ the beach boys in Dinkelsbuhl, Germany. Believe it or not it was at a outdoor ...Castle with a moat, a drawbridge, an old historic walled city & everything. But it was nothing like the atmosphere of "Castle Farms Music Theater" #rockthecastle See More

This place holds so many memories for me. I used to work security up there and was able to meet a lot of the bands and the shows that I've seen were just Absolutely amazing. That's when going to a con...cert didn't cost you an arm and a leg and you had great times out in the parking lot and in the show. Good times… Good times!! See More

Awesome concert venue! Saw my first concert there Ratt with Poison as the opening band. Poison was awesome! They outplayed Ratt! And became famous soon after. I will always remember telling my dad I going to the show and he said who in the hell is ratpoison? I laughed so hard. I also saw cinderela there. See More

Great memories of a once very fun place now in the past, but also re-purposed for the future in a wonderful new way.

Decent concert venue. Was always easier to get tickets here than Detroit.

For those who know...this is what Castle Farms looked like in 1968 when my father (Arthur Reibel) bought it...before he created Castle Farms Music Theatre. The rest is history!
