Reminder of our next meeting this Thursday (tomorrow) April 19th at the Pizza Cottage in Pickerington. Meeting starts at 7pm. Arrive at 6pm for dinner (at your expense) and fellowship.
Hopefully one of our members will bid and buy this old beauty and save her. I'd hate to see this turned into someone's tractor hauler.

My son is continuing to tweek our new webpage. I was able to add or roster of members last night. If you want you info such as address, email address and/or phone number and what apparatus you own added, please pm me and let me know. Please be sure to include the info you want added to your profile.
My son has really been working on our new web page. It's now hosted and can be found by typing in COAFAA.com in the address bar on your browser. There isn't much there yet, but that will change as soon as he cleans up a few things and gives Andy and I our administrative accounts.
At the club meeting this past week, it was discussed that the old website is no longer able to be updated. My son Nick is building the club a new website (he's a web designer and is doing it free of charge). The website should be functional within the next week or two. Even though we retained the COAFAA.org domain name, we were unable to move it to the new server. I have purchased the domain name COAFAA.com and will host the new site under that name. The new website will contain an event calendar and a members profile page that each individual member will be able to edit to their liking.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Medcare Ambulance after receiving news of this crash. Medcare was a sponsor and attendee of the SPAAMFAA Summer Convention COAFAA hosted.
Reminder of the club meeting tonight at 7pm. The meeting will be at the Pizza Cottage in Pickerington. Come at 6pm for fellowship and food. Food at you expense.
The annual COAFAA Muster will be held Saturday June 23rd, at the Ohio Fire Academy located at 8895 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The muster will run from 10am until 3pm. For information on our muster, call or text Dan Gilmore @ 740-253-0934 or PM us on Facebook.
Hello, I am trying to locate a 1927 Reo engine that was bought by Bellevue Fire Dept. in Michigan new. This is the last picture I have of it after it was sold to a man that operated Firehouse Recycling in Mentor, OH. Please let me know if you have any info on this company or truck. Thank you for your time.
We held our first meeting of 2018 last night and had election of officers. The results are as follows:
Vice Pres-Fred Houseberg
Trustees- Kieth Thomas-Rich Courter...
Rep to fire museum-Brian Miller
It was nice to see a good turn out last night. Here's some highlights from the meeting:
In regards to club elections, it was unanimous that Bill Davis be retained for the office of Treasurer/Secretary. Bill was away on business but had agreed to run for this office again.
Andy McConnell will look into updating the the clubs website. Andy will be looking for a free site that we can be easily updated.
The club picnic will be held on May 13th.
Bill Hall will be retiring as the director of the Central Ohio Fire Museum after 37 years.
The 2018 muster will be the clubs 30th muster. The muster will be held on June 23rd.
The recent results of the SPAAMFAA elections were discussed. The membership in attendance voiced their displeasure with the new leadership of SPAAMFAA including the way one candidate chose to run his campaign. A few members have stated they will not renew their SPAAMFAA membership. One member suggested COAFAA leave SPAAMFAA as a sign of displeasure with the national club. It was also discussed that they membership would like to invite the new SPAAMFAA president to attend one of our meetings to explain his actions during the election. It is important to note that these were the expressed thoughts of those in attendance of the meeting and may not be the beliefs of other club members.
President Gilmore offered to teach all COAFAA members Bystander CPR at no cost at one of the meetings before the muster. He feels it would be beneficial to our club since our musters are attended by people of all ages, citing 2016 muster where we had a medical emergency with an elderly male at the Heartmobile.
The next meeting will be held on March 20th at the Pizza Cottage in Pickerington. Be there at 6pm for fellowship and food (at your expense). The meeting will start at 7pm.
