I hope you're having a great week! I've been meaning to drop you a thank you note for ages...Thanks for your help a few months ago when I was planning my rail tour to Charlotte for my interactive music video. I really appreciate it, and thanks for listing the meetup! The Charlotte stop was a BLAST! Got to meet Daniel from the group, and a bunch of passerbys on the street for a truly epic visit! Thanks again!
Here's the video - I think you'll recognize s...ome downtown Charlotte scenes!
I was delighted to discover Charlotte Loves Music, and it looks like the scene is hopping! Keep up the great work, be sure to say hey if you're ever in the DC area, and hope to see you on the next tour! I've got an interview with Hypebot this afternoon, and I'll definitely mention how Meetup can facilitate jams and support!

Sunday Assembly <email@example.com>
I am writing from the Sunday Assembly, a global network that brings people together on a Sunday for one or two hours to celebrate life in a fun-filled, thought-provoking and inclusive environment. Our motto: Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More, our mission: to help everyone to fulfil their full potential! Sunday Assembly is there to create closer, supportive communities and to inject a bit of whizziness into people's Sundays.
There are local organizers setting up a Sunday Assembly in Charlotte for this September! At a typical Sunday Assembly there is an inspirational talk on anything from art to science,thought-provoking readings and poetry, a 'trying my best' part where someone in the community talks about a personal challenge, community notifications, tea and cake, and most importantly singing (usually awesome pop songs!). Here is an example of some of the singing at a Sunday Assembly: http://vimeo.com/97776615 - this is quite high energy and as you can see, what it lacks in quality, it makes up for in enthusiasm!
The Charlotte group are not only looking for people to come to the first Assembly on September the 28th but would also love to have a live band/people to help with the music. So we would really appreciate your help spreading the word! We are looking for musicians from the local community with lots of energy who can get a crowd going. If you are interested in helping us, please do reply by email and I can send you more information or perhaps a paragraph to send out to groups. But if you can think of anyone directly please do let us know or pass on our details!
If you'd like to more, please feel free to ask or have a look at our FAQs or the Facebook group and very brand new Facebook page.
All the best,
We had a blast Friday, I hope you can make it for part 2!
