The good: Food was delicious -- spinach artichoke dip was hot and tangy with soft naan bread, potato skins were crispy and fresh, chicken entree was incredible. Salads were a good size. Very cool his...torical building with a nice patio.

The not so good: It took 3 people 1.5 hours to get through appetizers and dinner due to extremely slow service and kitchen. Also slightly pricey. Don't come if you have any kind of set plans. Ledges along the wall were dusty and had a dead fly or two.

The soup was tasty but a little salty. The salad was terrific but it took awhile to get our wrap and when it came it was fairly tasty although the fries were not terribly hot. ..The best part was the... very accommodating and sweet waitress. See More

We enjoyed a lovely lunch out on the patio!! We really enjoyed the curry chicken salad wrap and steak sandwich on a great ciabatta roll!! The waitress was sweet.. which added to our enjoying the exper...ience more!!

You will never have better French onion soup, we are addicted to it, and several of our other other favorites. In October we experienced a minor bump on the road, the flavor of our soup was off. I de...cided to call the owner, as I am sure he wants to know, instead of us not going back. We had a nice chat, he is so friendly and professional. He said I will taste it and look into it. We have been back a few times since, and continue to enjoy our favorites. The soup, goat cheese salad, clams were very good, calamari and I can list more but it's best if you just try for yourself, you will be happy you did. See More

I used to come here pretty frequently. The food was always great, and the service even better. But recently it seems as though the quality of food has plummeted. The last time I came here I had the be...ef tacos off of the bar menu, and they were terrible. I just assumed it was an off night.

Tonight I came in and ordered the lobster bisque off of the Mother's Day menu. I assumed I would get a cream-based bisque, with maybe some lobster in it, or something for texture. What I received was what tasted like tomato soup with mystery fish, and it was a thin texture. Besides the poor taste and quality, the table smelled like low tide.

The waitress came over, and was more than willing to exchange the bisque for something else. She suggested the lobster cocktail, so I took her recommendation. When it arrived, it was a fair amount of lobster for the price (two claws and some knuckle meat), so I was pleased by that. Unfortunately, the lobster was dry and chewy, so probably frozen, and it left red residue on my hands after eating it. It was incredibly strange. Even the butter was orange by the time I was done eating. I'll include a picture in the comments of the red on my napkin when I was done.

At this point, I didn't want to bother the waitress by taking back another dish, and as the cocktail was at least edible, I ate it without complaint to her. My waitress was wonderful despite the seating area being full well past 9pm, which is why I'm giving two stars instead of one.

Chatterley's was once awesome, and now subpar. I'm not sure what is causing the steady decline in quality, but hopefully they can come back and be one of the best area restaurants again.

Miss Fred however his replacements treat us well. Most patrons/guests are well mannered, and quite friendly however you do get the occasional A-hole. Ihave always thought the food, and drinks were but ever since there menu change the food seems to be just OK. Not sure why, maybe they decided to use a new supplier or new chefs.Been coming here for over four years, and as long as the food, and drinks don't get any worse I will continue coming. See More

What a great experience as always! We travel from Mystic to New Hartford for a day of nastalgia every year and end our day with a great meal. For great contemporary American cuisine you have to stop... at Chatterley's! See More

Seriously amazing food. I was absolutely blown away with the jalapeño poppers, then again with the pulled pork penne. Some of the best food I've ever eaten.
