When my son was 5 years old, he was terrified of Police Officers for some reason. So I took him to the station to meet the police on duty, this was 2008. He got to meet them, and they made him enough that he stopped being so affraid of them. They made his day by giving him a coloring book and badge. Thank you for the memories! And thank you officers for taking the time out of your day to show a little boy there was nothing to be afraid of. See More

I live in Chipley and about 2 months ago I had fallen asleep on the sofa in the living room. About 2am there was a gentle knock on the front door. Being a little more than startled, I went to the door... and looked through the side glass to see a police officer standing on my porch, his cruiser in my driveway. I opened the door dreading bad news. While patrolling tne neighborhood, this observant officer had noticed my car window had been left open and it had now started to rain. He also warned that there had been several cars broken into in the path few weeks. I'm ashamed that I failed to get his name. I hope his boss sees this post though. See More
