I just finished reading "the perennial seller", I recommend it, it's about marketing and the creative process. This is usefull since it's part of my research for the design of my game and its systems, and also to market it:

So, I have sent pitches to many publishers, some of them replied, most didn't. It seems the prototype I sent is not developed enough to be evaluated, they need a playable demo, wich the prototype isn't, so my plan now is to work on the prototype more, until it's more playable. I can't keep working full time though, only part time.

This means that it's going to take lots of months before I can have something playable, which is going to delay the beta, alpha and final versions ...of the game.

Just to be clear, this does not mean I'm leaving the project, it's just delayed, once again.

Hi, I have something new to show about a very important part of the game: the organizaition design screen.

It it nowhere near finished, its not playable yet, but it shows the most basic of it.

We can now create modules and links between them.


We can also have contextual menues in almost every part of the game, along with custom menu items for each thing.

Also, each module can be configured in its own pop-up configuration window.

So you can see how you could create a complex system for a business. You can create many modules and specify what type of module they are, and the relationships between them. In this way we can create many different types of business models and organizational systems.

Our programmer Juan has been working on the windows, this is a WIP of the person window, where you will be able to see some information of a personal contact that the player has.
From here, you will be able to:
1. See the stats of the person, divided in different types of intelligences (logical, visual, social, etc etc)


2. See the person qualities (Shy, corrupt, extrovert, lazy, etc (similar to Crusader Kings 2)).

3. See the skills he/she posesses.

4. See the picture, name, age, and more.

Good news, we have been working on Venture Tales, but we don't have much to show yet because its all code. But, let me show you a screenshot of what I have been working for the past few days, its a map editor.

Development of Venture Tales has started! We are working with Unity

We have started with the design of the demo of Venture Tales, hopefully we will have a working playable demo of the main idea of the game before next year!

I have begun to interview partners to form the new team that will work on Venture Tales, the business simulation game.

Also, the funding contest I told you before has begun accepting entries. That means that in a few weeks I will be submitting this project to them so we can have enough money to start and finish this business simulator game.

But this is not our only option, we will also be evaluating other ways to be funded, including contacting publishers, and other funds. ...
