Robert Granke, CLWR Executive Director writes, “today, Jan 18, 2018, the CLWR Global Encounter to the Holy Land and Jordan begins. Sixty Nine participants will ...make our way across the West Bank, into Jordan and then to Jerusalem and Bethlehem. We will engage with the work of the Lutheran World Federation Jerusalem, Augusta Victoria Hospital and vocational training centres. In Jordan with the schools and refugee support. Will be quite the two week adventure! Please pray for our safe journey! Watch for updates!!”—

FAREWELL AND GODSPEED – After 34 years in the Okanagan, 30 of them at Christ Lutheran, Pastor Wallace and Laura Loge are moving.
There will be a good-bye dinner for them on Sunday, January 28th, with appies at 5:00pm, and dinner to follow.
The main course will be provided; please bring a side dish or dessert
