Ryan brought his 2012 Camaro SS with the SLP585 package back in for a 3.3" pulley on the Magnuson Superchargers blower and an Alky Control methanol injection system. The trunk space in the convertibles is extremely tight, but the 4 gallon reservoir fit while retaining all functionality. As soon as we get some meth, it gets checked for leaks and back on the dyno.
Short idle video of Jeff and Bob's 2000 Corvette. They bought this car as a bone stock 2000 Chevrolet Corvette a few months ago. Shortly after it came to us for a Brian Tooley Racing Stage III NA cam and matching valvetrain, Melling oil pump, Stainless Works longtube headers, Edge Racing Converters torque converter, MSD Performance Air Force Intake manifold, Nick Williams 102mm throttle body, Vararam intake, DMH low profile electric cutouts, Motive 3.90 gears, Elite Engineering catch can, and a dyno tune using HP Tuners software.
Right now we're waiting on a bigger set of injectors and a fuel pump so we can finish tuning.
Nick tuning his 2001 Formula on the dyno. He put down 500 rwhp SAE through an SS Transmissions 4L60E and Strange Engineering S60. The engine is a 377 cubic inch cathedral headed combination that he and Brian Tooley of Brian Tooley Racing came up with using a GM LS3 block and 243 head castings CNC ported by Total Engine Airflow and hand finished by Brian. The FAST 102mm intake was also ported to match to the heads by Brian. The bottom end features Wiseco 12cc dome pistons ...and Callies Compstar connecting rods with a stock crankshaft. Compression comes in at 14.1:1 and runs on Renegade E85. Exhaust is handled via Kooks Headers and Exhaust 2" primary headers into a single 4" Dynatech Headers Split Flow muffler. The factory PCM was tuned with HP Tuners software.
We will have the car out tomorrow night at Thornhill Dragstrip for the Street Car Showdown class put together by Rob Sparks. Check out their page for race info and bring those street cars out!
We got the shop truck running last week!
We installed Stainless Works Long tubes and tuned Kevin's Camaro a couple years ago. Last month he contacted us saying that it was time for the next round of mods. He was thrilled with the cars performance, but like every car guy, he wanted more. More HP, more TQ and more SOUND! So we called our good friends down at Brian Tooley Racing and ordered up their Stage III cam package. Killer products, killer service and parts that work are the norm for those guys, so it was a no brianer for Kevin and I. Brad did the install and Tracey, once again, worked the keys on the laptop to make all the parts work together. I think we hit the nail on the head, as Kevin will be thrilled with his Chevrolet Camaro once again!
