We lived in Gig Harbor for 15 years. The people are snobby and cliquish. People are more impressed with showing off their fancy cars and designer clothes rather than being neighborly and inclusive. ... Now the beauty is being ruined by endless developments with boring cookie cutter homes in gated communities. Traffic is a nightmare and housing prices are ridiculous! So glad we are back living in the city - full of diversity, inclusivity and neighborly love. Only wish we would have left sooner! Sorry Gig Harbor - your "quaint charm" is only a façade. See More

The downtown waterfront is still one of the most beautiful places on earth. However, over-development is killing the charm and beauty of our city. Traffic, especially on SR-16 @ Olympic and Borgen Roa...d is ruining this once peaceful oasis. My property taxes have almost doubled in 5 years. Oh well, that's progress, right? See More
