I feel a 3 star is an accurate rating. There is a lot of untapped potential in this small town that is under utilized due to budget contraints and not enough manpower. As a community we must strive to... help better our livelihood. Stricter laws for repeat offenders, money spent on cleaning up streets of drugs and crime, and most importantly creating new jobs that don't consist of only factory or restaurants. I've lived here for almost 8 years (originally from new york) and it's sad to see this small town start to turn into a place I once came from. See More

I've lived here 37 years, and I loved raising my son in a small Rural town. Even though Greenville has grown, and isn't crime free. I still love knowing all my neighbors and people I've worked with o...ver the years. I can't imagine not living here..i met my husband of 25 years here..and he was born n raised here, and is in his final resting place here..i moved here from a big city, and never again..this is true down to earth life where neighbors help each other..and I've been fortunate to be friends with four different mayors Dick Birt was our friend, neighbor and married us back in 1987.
Respectfully yours,

Greenville is just getting trashy & worse every single day!
Drugs are taking over the city and there isn't much being done about it!
Sex offenders live on every block!...
It's a place where you're either getting robbed, or your property is getting set on fire!
The entire system is a joke to repeat offenders!
I encourage people to help clean up the city, or to get out, because if you do nothing, you'll just become a victim!

Only spent an afternoon there but it really seems like a great little city with beautiful parks and a lot of history.

There is a great sense of pride in this area of Ohio. One can't argue with the current expose and recognition Greenville has received in recent years. They are doing something right. I have lived all ...over the country and for a small town Greenville is by far the best I've lived in. See More

Would be a great community but failure to spend money properly has made this city to be the next dayton. Millions of tax revenue and yet they act like no money to spend. Police department under mann...ed. Fire department doesn't have up to date equipment. Too bad the council doesn't see what the public does. See More
