I have to be honest here,it’s an okay place but they have poor communication skills, are disorganized and the dealers are a bit rude. It was my first time purchasing a Subaru and I had to chase them d...own- which is really frustrating. John Melvin ultimately saved the sale bc of his follow through after I called and spoke with him - he returned phone calls, answered questions and was timely and respectful. - if you can work with John it’s great - See More

While visiting from out of state I got a flat in Cambridge (surprise!) and needed to get a tire replaced immediately since I was heading back home later that day. Xander worked really hard to try and... find the model and make of the tire for my Legacy, making at least 10 different phone calls. While an exact match wasn't immediately available, he was able to find a similar tire and have the team put it on in a matter of minutes even though they were extremely busy and had told me to expect a two hour wait. My husband and I both own Subarus for two reasons: the AWD/versatility (we live on a farm in snow/mud country) and the customer service. Thank you! See More

We went in today to buy a car. Repeat customers. Bought a car there several years ago. We were offered a deal and then told afterwards that they couldn't actually make that deal work because they forg...ot to add taxes and fees. Then they said they'd take our trade in and then changed their minds. Wasted the day. Will never go there again. Could've made lifelong customers out of this family who live down the street. Very disappointed. Will spread the word to all we know to stay away. See More

I called on a Friday to ask if I could bring my car in for the brakes. I was told I could drop it off early Monday and they would try and get to it.
I made arrangements for a ride to cityside Subaru M...onday morning around 7:30 and a friend lent me a vehicle for the day. I called back later and asked about a loaner car and was told none were available.
I understood I had no official appointment and was leaving the car 'on standby', however, the entire day Monday and Tuesday went by without a call! The first time I found out anything was when I called in Tuesday night, asked for service and was told before they transferred me, "ooooooo, I'm not sure anyone's still there but here goes...."
I finally talked to a woman who put me on hold for 10 minutes and said "I was in luck!" A tech had stayed late and was looking at it now! "....please hold for an estimate..." $1100!
Thanks for nothing guys. I won't be coming back!

Cityside Subaru has blocked my original page from posting and the owner has personally sent me a email.
I have never been a disgruntled employee. I did not agree with the way Joe Cisek was robbing t...he customers and technicians of money to put in the pockets of the company and his.
They ( the owners ) can always attempt to hide the truth but i have the proof. i have work orders given to me by the other technicians that show how much CitySide really cares about quality work. Don't be fooled folks. I stand for the truth and that is all and when i spoke the truth I was fired. Not only was i fired but the company called the Belmont Police to have me escorted of the property. I am fine with that but it just shows what the truth brings. I have the videos of the work orders. Please feel free to contact me and even more, i have actual customers who are willing to back up the truth.
Cityside, you can hide from the truth and continue to stiff customers but it will come out.
617-363-6940.... The truth is there, i am willing to point you in the direction. If your car was ever worked on by me you will see my initials on your engine. Most of the time i was ordered to by pass doing anything more to your car if you had a service plan. If you were paying by cash or credit then i was told to make things up to sell you for a greater service by Joe Ciesek...

This is the first Subaru I've ever bought. I decided it was time for AWD and I thought I should go with the pioneers. Buying the Impreza hatchback at CitySide was the best car buying experience I've e...ver had in 45 years! Flavio Fonseca was so easy to work with. He knew what I wanted and didn't try to push any extra things that I didn't need. He was so pleasant and polite. His calm manner made us feel very much at ease. He spoke highly of the owner of the dealership and how well he treats his employees. Don Ratcliffe, the finance manager was also very easy to work with....again explaining the extras that were available, but not pushing them on me. We did end up buying an extended warranty and the maintenance plan which seemed like a good deal. I'm looking forward to driving my new Impreza and I'm sure when it's time for my husband to replace his car, we'll definitely be calling Flavio. THANKS, FLAVIO! See More

Don't buy a Subaru here if you don't have to. I ordered a car from here and they had it in the WRONG color. Lucky thing the color was my second choice. The amount of compensation for the mistake was n...ot nearly as much since they told me they had a specific car, i drove 400 miles from Rochester Ny to find out they either deceived me with the color, or made a mistake. Either or, make sure their ears are working. See More
