Out of abundance of caution, the City of Coleman is closing all city buildings and facilities to the public in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
During these closures, doors to City facilities will be locked. Individual public access may be allowed in extenuating circumstances, but by appointment only. City staff will continue to report to work and will be available during normal operating hours.
Residents are encouraged to conduct business with City staff via email ...or phone. We have a drop box in front of city hall building for payments or to submit paperwork to us. Notices will be posted at the entrances off all facilities that will include a phone number to use if access is required.
At this time, public meetings of boards and council will be evaluated on a meeting by meeting basis to access their need to meet and take action on matters of importance. Meetings that do not have critical business to conduct will be cancelled.
The city will continue to monitor public health information regarding COVID-19 and will reassess and alter its response as needed.
