Me and wife moved here in spring, our first Christmas here. I am disappointed in the lack of holiday decorating spirit this year. Where's the Christmas spirit at.

Some of the tellers you see to pay your utilities have the personality of a rock. A “hello” or “how can I help you?” would be nice, a simple “thank you” to let me know we were finished would’ve been g...reat. City of Cookeville electric department: bucket truck drivers, as supposed professional drivers, should be aware of the requirement to use turn signals.And stopping to challenge another motorist is of Whiteaker Springs and N Washington, behind the old airport, should anyone in a supervisory capacity be interested. I haven't seen any recent updates on the status or progress of the Publix, Panera Bread, etc. that will be built on Interstate Drive. The last I heard it was suppose to be completed in late fall of 20...17; however, the construction hasn't even started. See More

Layne Inliner, LLC, a contractor for the City of Cookeville Department of Water Quality Control, will have Steven’s Street closed between Willow Avenue & South ...Franklin Avenue to rehabilitate a portion of the sanitary sewer. Work will be starting Wednesday, May 23rd, at 8:00AM is anticipated to be complete by 4:00PM, weather permitting. Please follow detour signage that will be set up due to this construction, and please be aware of workers present in and around this area.

Cookeville city parks provide a wonderful opportunity for pet owners to walk with their pets in a traffic-free environment.
