The Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a luncheon during which Mayor Tim Flaherty made a presentation on issues and challenges facing the City over the next few years. His speech covered topics such as the City's financial situation, capital improvements, housing & development projects, public noticing of meetings & events, the cannabis ordinance, and a proposed Citizens' Academy in Pleasant Hill. The Pleasant Hill Education Commission, in partnership with the MDUSD Workability Program, is hosting the annual Vocational College & Career Fair at College Park High School on Friday, March 2nd. This is an opportunity for students to explore the world of non-traditional learning and careers available after high school, as well as summer job openings.
When: Friday, March 2nd - 3rd & 4th periods and lunch (10:06am-12:34pm).
