This is a town full of truly kind & caring people willing to go the extra mile for their neighbor--
We are blessed to be here & to be a part of this little slice of Americana,
The City of Clearwater has the following procedures for snow and ice on the streets:
When snow is 2" or greater the Public Works staff will begin plowing streets within City limits.
With ice, such as we just experienced, the City does not have the equipment capabilities of pre-treating or removing ice. Our practice is to salt/sand intersections as needed....
Sedgwick County is responsible for snow/ice removal on Ross St. east and west through town, Diagonal & Tracy south through town and 4th St. north of the four way stop.
With another ice storm expected this evening, please drive carefully.
Have you ever wondered how things get done in the City? Are you interested in serving with other community members to help continue to make Clearwater a great place to live? If so, the opportunity is here. The City of Clearwater is looking for community members to serve on the Recreation Commission, Park Advisory Board, Library Board and Historical Society Board. For a minimal amount of time you can help shape Clearwater for years to come. If interested or you want more information, contact the City Administrator at 584-2311 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
