Horrific experience with staff right from TPA desk to pharmacy to emergencies and nurses!
My entire family goes to Columbia Asia Ghaziabad, U.P. for their treatment since 2015. There have been many un...professional and life dangerous experiences which we have brought in notice of management from time to time. But the last one was very serious. My brother was admitted in emergency for injecting fluids and the caretakers increased the speed of antibiotic to an extent that it almost freezed the brain of my brother, gave him numbness and allergy all over body. Dr Rajesh Verma is very professional and pro active in this hospital, rest all are dumb morons who are sitting like fools and befooling us. I wish to bring many more concerns to the notice of head office as I feel no one would address them at Ghaziabad. I am soon going to start a campaign against such horrific incidences we have had.. will do or die this time but get the shit out of hospital that made us go bonkers every time we checked in. Branch: sarjapur road, Bangalore. Worst experience. Staff don't have minimum common sense. We went for an ultrasound scan for my wife with one month old baby. We joined in emergency ward. They said te...chnician will come in 30mins and made us wait for 2hours. After insisting about technician availability, we got to know technician may come in another one hour. We immediately went to Sakra hospital and got the scan done immediately. As we were waiting with a month old baby with us, staff could have been honest in their communication. We will never visit Columbia Asia hospital again. See More

My Name is Muralidhar. MRN :CASR - 0000003751. Today i have visited Sarjapur, Banglore hospital. My first visit is on 29/11/2017. That day itself i have faced lot many problems in the hospital. i have... written feedback and also given online feedback. Even Chairman did responded and also staff appolozized. Today i have visted the hospital again for the treatment procedure. When i am at the reception the receptionist informed me that i have never paid consultation fee for the doctor so i cannot visit him. The i strongly objected and showed her the bill that i got on 29th. Even then she refused. I understood her problem (she dont know how to check the bill) and explained her the bill and the amount details. Then she agreed and asked me to wait infront of doctor room. When my turn came i went inside and shocked to see a different person. He introduced himself as DR. Vishwanath. I said that i am seeing you for the first time and he did said that he is also meeting me for the first time. Then i showed him the diagnosis summary that was given on his name and signature to me on 29th. He informed me that the person who did that might be "Anudeep". I asked him how somebody can use his name and signature? He replied that "Anudeep" without his notice might have stolen his account password and might be using without his notice. This is all about columbia Asia. International experience. The complete doctor was replaced by an unknown person in the hospital itself without their notice. By this how we should be understanding Columbia Asia? See More

Maybe my expectations are too high since I always make a point to return phone calls. On September 21, my grandmother complained of severe headache, vomiting and so on (Read: All the symptoms of strok...e). My mother called grandmom's regular physician the whole evening (from 8 pm to 10.30 pm) hoping to get a response from him as he had asked to call him in case of a medical emergency. The doctor concerned is Dr Ranbir Chowdhury, Columbia Asia Hospitals, Kolkata (Columbia Asia India) . My grandmother is no more. She had intraventricular hemorrhage. It has been 2 weeks and there is no call back. Disgusted and disappointed with his behaviour I called him few days after her demise and all that he said, "I am on leave till October 3".
Not that I expect my grandmother to come back to me but I really hope that no one confronts such a hapless situation as my family did. A doctor's primary responsibility is to ensure the welfare of his patients. Without it his ethics stand void.
Careless, insensitive and negligent are the best words to describe Dr Ranbir Chowdhury (Columbia Asia India). Missing 10 calls at a critical time for a heart patient is nothing short of a crime. Friends..stay away from him.

I visited Bangalore Sarjapur branch on 10th Nov afternoon. Experience with the doctor was good. But my mistake that I went to lab for blood test. I was clearly told that I will get the report within 2... hours. But that's where the pain started. I kept on calling them in the evening. Everytime, they used to mention that report will come in sometime. Then late in the evening, they mentioned that report will come the next day as they have sent the sample to a different branch for examination. I escalated this to duty manager and after a hassle of 30 mins or so, they agreed that they will provide the report VERBALLY over a call at 10.00 PM. I kept on waiting till 10.40 PM, but no call. I called them again. The receptionist was clearly audible talking to the manager sitting right next to him, but he mentioned to me that his number is busy and he will call me in 5 mins. Then manager called me in 5 mins, and lab supervisor told me half cooked report. I am not even sure on how can I trust what they have mentioned. What is the point in going to such premium hospitals when they don't even have basic professionalism. I paid more then double to get better service but just ended up getting more pain. See More

Very bad experience. This is with Whitefield Bangalore Branch. After spending 3 hours in Emergency, it was said to go to OPD and wait there for the doctor as patients vital stats were ok and she can w...ait. When I asked the MOD you could have told this earlier, why you wasted our 3 hours, answer was - Who told you to wait. This sentence was given by Mrs Apurva. I used to gave good feedback for this hospital but this is the second time I faced this kind of behavior. Just a suggestion to top management, it will take no time to bring down your brand name if unhappy customers are there. So save it. The incident happened today which is a holiday and we expect emergency department to treat and see patients and not say them at last - who told u to wait. Bad very Bad. See More

Columbia Asia Mysore branch: You gave my family a pain of lifetime, the surgeon who operated my Papa literally killed him. It's about my papa who was diagnosed stomach cancer, the surgeon mislead us b...y giving us hope. He made us believe and trust his ability by saying he have 15 yrs experience in surgery. Will Dr with 15 yrs experience extubate patient after major surgery ( removed half stomach, spleen, half pancreas) within less than 24 hrs and plan to shift him to room????Won't they monitor patients status in ICU???But that Dr who had 15 yrs experience did extubate n planned to shift him,he seemed to have undermined the complications that could follow MAJOR ectomies and killed my papa ������So angry n sad that we gave our precious papas life in the trust of such untrained or unskilled Drs hand.Very disappointed with that surgeon (Dr Vasadev Pai)and price don't ask. ������������ See More

Hi. My MRN 44061. I am almost 8 yrs dialysis patient in Columbia Asia hebbal hospital. Nephrology team is excellent & dialysis care team maintain neat hygienic dialysis. Customer care service & financ...e department is reasonable & good .

The issue is with cafe Columbia Asia hebbal . The worst food they serving , quality , quntity &price is very high . Almost every staff is rude & arrogant , given 5 feed back form about them, till know of them got replay. Sticken notice to notice board they removed it immediately !! If these cafe people can't maintain patient quality food , why you kept in hospital ??? Even government sponsored " Indira canteen food service is good compared to cafe Columbia Asia hebbal food service."

A late review though. I had scheduled health check up for my wife through healthi at Columbia Asia hospital. When she reached after 12 hours of fasting, the hospital told, they no longer have contra w...ith healthi. Neither party informed us prior to our appointment about the contract issue, nor considerate about the person, only spoke about their protocols and cared about the business. Horrible experience, never choose them. They lack empathy which is least you can expect from service sector, health care to be more specific. See More

Columbia asia hospital is biggest fraud hospital in ahmedabad. I am Dr. Gunjan Patel, anesthetist. I was in anesthesia management of a patient's hernia operation done by one of my surgeon. They have t...aken anesthesia charge from patient. But after 4 month I have not received my charge. They are not responding to my call. So please don't go to this fraud hospital or send your patient there. You will not get your charge. See More

I have been visiting Columbai Asia Pune for my kid vaccination. Before going to doctor I confirmed with nurse if they have required vaccination as per scheduled and nurse confirm they have all require...d vaccination.

we paid 500 rs charges vacination and consultation for Shruti Jadav. We we gone into doctor cabin we clearly told her we came for 6 month vacination and we cleared or general query regarding baby foods etc.

She prescription all well, but she dont have time or will to examine my baby how is doing.

After we went our and nurse given us prescription, but there is no vaccination(If there is no vaccination nurse should inform us earlier or doctor when we went inside doctor cabin). My Rs 500 waste.

When I talk to management they told talk to doctor for refund. When I talk to docotor she say charges cannot be refund as you done with consultantcy with me. Is this fare?

My question is with doctor/columbia asia why you guys dont inform parent that there is no vaccination before we pay fee. Primarily we came for vaccination and if its not there why doctor not inform us earlier?

Dear sir/madam,
My father was undergoing TURP surgery on 25.09.17. In the midway of surgery some sparking took place in the operating device. Due to this the operation was aborted and somehow bleeding... of patient was stopped. There was no backup device forthe same. Next day on 26th the operation was carried on with new device.
Following are the medical negligence which should not had happened
1. The device functioning was not ensured before surgery.
2. There is no backup for such a crucial device.
3. Billing is done foreverything done on 25th. Please note that all activities done on that day gave only pain and useless medicines to the patient due to hospitals fault causing serious loss of patients health, time and money.

I hope who so ever is a concerned authority
Will see this case and resolve it to the patients satisfaction.

First, I would like to thank the consultation doctors for their service. It was a great experience while interacting with them. When it comes to the administrative support it was a terrible (pathetic)... experience and below are some of the issues we faced:
1. The birth weight of the baby was mentioned different in Mother discharge Summary, Immunization Chart and Baby Discharge summary.
2. Not able to allocate the room, you have to run behind the staff for the allocation.
3. Very bad nursing care, nursing staff said the below statements when questioned about issues:
a. Weighing machine not working in OT
b. Labor team gave the admission request late
c. Do not ring the bell, call us on the phone
d. Recklessness while giving saline, the last dose itself not given. Blood came out of the vein and nurse said not require.

Hatsoff to Columbia Asia Whitefield for their non super-Speciality services. Atleast do a 3 star level service for the amount you are charging.

Hospital with no value of time, it took me almost 40 minutes to get register and for that they charge Rs 100, it took almost 2 hours to meet the doctor, staff at the desk also has no manners. Worst ex...perience not recommended at all. See More

Columbia Asia Mysore : We have had best experience at mysore branch. Doctors have been very co-operative.

Quality and rates at the canteen should be revised....
OPD needs better management.

Thanks to you I would have lost a dear one today... 20 minutes your main board line was not reachable when connected before I could tell where I need a...mbulance it got disconnected. Next 20 min again line busy!!!

Hi all at Columbia. There are lot of sign boards in Bangalore erected by your management as a part of CSR activities. However, this picture board will indicate the sheer negligence by both BBMP and ...your Hospital Management. My appeals to BBMP to set right this potential danger to the pedestrians is falling on deaf ears. Hence my post on your website. You could either take up this CSR activity or you could view it as a business opportunity - like how you view all your potential patients walking into your premises. I presume you will definitely view the issue as a business opportunity. Hope you set right this Billboard before someone's life is at stake. It could be even one of your own employees. I called a million times to connect me to the lab to get my reports which we were supposed to get in 2 hours on email. The front desk person now does not bother to even say hello. Simply sees my numbe...r and puts me on the lab line which does not connect. See More

@columbiaAsiaMysore - Worst response at cafe. There will be too many hidden charges even after you opt package service. ColumbiaAsia is meant for spending money for no service. Nurses are too negligen...t, Administration department behave like they are from mars. Cashiers has no answers for any questions asked. You might have to wait for 45 mins for the cashier in cafe to say they dont have tea even when there is no queue See More
