Rep. Kuster Speaks in Support of The Maximizing Drug Coverage for Low-Income Seniors Act
I have heard heartbreaking stories from Granite Staters who struggle to pay for their prescription drugs, who often have to choose between basic necessities and the medication they rely on. No American should be tasked with these impossible decisions, which is why I am proud to help introduce The Maximizing Drug Coverage for Low-Income Seniors Act to ensure our most vulnerable Americans are matched with the prescription drug plan that is best for them while saving senior and taxpayer dollars.

Rise today in support of HR 4669, the maximizing drug coverage for Low-income Seniors Act This past week, I joined my colleagues, Haley Stevens, Johanna Hayes and Terri Sewell to introduce this common sense legislation that will help to ensure that low income seniors are matched with the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug program that is best for them. I continue to. From folks in New Hampshire who are struggling to pay for their prescription drugs, often being forced to choose between groceries or rent, and the medications that they need far, too many Americans are forced to make these impossible choices between basic necessities for their families and their prescription medications. This legislation will help some of our most vulnerable Americans to afford the medications they depend on. Stay healthy and it will save taxpayer dollars with that. I encourage my colleagues to support this important bill and I yield back.
