Yesterday, the Bipartisan Heroin and Opioid Task Force hosted a discussion about expanding Medication Assisted Treatment for inmates who have substance use disorder. This has the potential to reduce recidivism rates, help people more successfully transition back into their communities, and save taxpayer dollars.
