And hello so happy we've just come off the floor where 400 and 15 of our colleagues just passed a really important bill to protect young athletes from abuse by coach These trainers and doctors these are Olympic hopefuls um that have undergone this abuse for many decades and so now these organizations must report to law enforcement and put better policies in place it's a great bipartisan effort by my colleagues are leaving it Democrat side and the head of the work coach shares the women's caucus now it's over to the Senate where Sen feinstein we hope you'll get that bill across the Senate floor as well thank you thank you for your leadership by we're counting on dianne feinstein in the Senate for her great leadership Been listen here's what I think about this you think about these young kids they Dream at an early age standing on that Olympic podium with a medal around their neck their saluting the American flag they give up a lot of their childhood not only in the cases we heard about to be subjected to abuse by coaches who they call grandpa today we take a great step forward and trying to protect their innocence and having their dreams come true it's a good day here on the House Florida
