The new advice from government yesterday was confusing at best and deadly at worst.

We're encouraging all groups to carry on your mutual aid activities with the same precautions and continue to observe lockdown and social distancing measures.

For anyone who is expected to return to work, know that Section 44 of the Employment Rights Act gives you the right to walk away from any unsafe work. Now is also a great time to join a union.

If you're a mutual aid volunteer communicating with members of your communities regularly, please remind them of their rights.

When the government advice and action isn't prioritising saving lives, the rest of us must work together to protect each other.
