We had SO much fun introducing black light puppetry to our Nicaraguan team. It was even more fun bringing it to this rural town 4 hours outside the capital - listen their cheers as the sign “CRISTO” (Christ in Spanish) was raised!
Join us for a family-friendly evening of worship, celebration and creativity with New Life Church and Western Korean Church!
The evening will conclude with a presentation by Create, Minister, Teach! featuring puppetry, music, painting and blacklight with a whimsical story about light and hope.
Refreshments will be available following the presentation. Bring a friend!
Another look from sketch to showtime - I love that each puppeteer chose and created the flower crown for their puppet. It allowed each piece to feel individual and each puppet to have their own personalty and style - while still feeling like part of a group!

Richly blessed! We had an unbelievably special weekend at the Oregon Creative Ministry Festival as a ministry and as a team. Grateful for the opportunity to share at the conference and be inspired by the other ministries we saw! #cmsfestivals
"But the Holy Spirit produced this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." Galatians 5:22-23
Each of our programs includes surprises for the whole family. 2014's "Heavenly Street."
Another look from #sketch to #showtime: the original designs for male puppeteers were brown pants to represent tree trunks. Performing in MD we allowed puppeteers to wear khaki and watching the videos after, it clicked! There was now more cohesion with the female costume and the birch scenery.
"you are God's child, and God will give you the blessing he promised, because you are his child." Galatians 4:7
We always include a worshipful song in our presentations to invite God's presence into the space. This is from our 2014 program "Heavenly Street."
The ending for our song "Children of God" is my favorite moment! Puppets, puppeteers, costumes and scenery all come together.
Four years ago we enjoyed the sweet blessing of training a group of youth in Panama for creative ministry and this was our finale. Praise God for the way he works!
The finale song for the musical we prepared with 23 devoted and gifted Panamanian youth I had the blessing to work with all week. This presentation and the heart they put into is was incredible to be a part of and so many little ones came forth after each program to accept the Lord into their heart.
So blessed to have co-led the children's ministry track at the CE Conference alongside some great friends. I had so much fun sharing creative ideas for ministry and was so encouraged. Praise God!
