It's rare for me to share articles from other outlets—this one is *fantastic*. I'm particularly happy to see Jennifer 8. Lee quoted in this article; her work, particularly her movie "The Search for General Tso," has inspired me to wonder about the potential role of Chinese family associations in the Polynesian/Chinese restaurant style prevalent in the U.S. Northeast. I'm happy to hear Chinese voices chime in on Tiki's history, more, more!
