We went last night with our 3 children. From walking in the door we were looked after very well. The owner explained everything on the menu and asked could he ...order for us. We were a little apprehensive and he brought us all a starter out each. Every plate was a taste sensation. He then chose our main meals which were also fantastic. He is very passionate about his food and offered to show us how to make something. My son is a vegan, however you do not need to be a vegetarian to enjoy this fabulous and very extensive menu. This place, without doubt is the finest Indian cuisine around Stockport. Amazing textures, flavours ranging from delicate to super strength. The staff are so wo...nderfully friendly and are keen to recommend dishes..... they have an open kitchen door policy (if you want to see how things are cooked) and are eager to share their knowledge of food and their culture. We visited here last night following several recommendations and will now highly recommend to others. We are not vegetarians but this is irrelevant. We ordered ...5 starters to get a variety of flavours which were all sumptuous (doggie bag was provided for us to take half we didn't eat home). Mains were recommended and described in detail by the owner who is friendly and obviously passionate about the food and the quality of our dining experience. Nice touch at the end where he brought over a small bottle of champagne with a couple of flutes on the house. Owner was attentive but not intrusive. This place is amazing!!! My daughter is vegan so we were quite excited to find a vegan Indian restaurant that was local. We were looked after as soon as we arri...ved, very welcoming. The menu is awesome - so much choice. We couldn't decide so asked the owner to recommend and he selected 3 courses for us each. The food was delicious - this is definitely the best Indian meal I have ever had, even though i'm not vegan. This place is amazing lovely people fantastic food loads of choice I do not like tofu but the dish I had last night wow loved it. A definate must if you like food and don't be put off if you eat meat as my son loved it too and he does 😀

I found this place as I walking back from my Dads one evening (I only live about 10 minutes from here) and made it my mission to try it out. My family and I arr...ived just after 5pm and the owner/manager was very accommodating, even got his phone out to show me how he/his chef cooks the food. He made suggestions as my family are skeptical of vegan food as if it's all made from another planet lol. We received generally good service and the owner/manager clearly has a passion for the food he cooks/serves. Although, we didn't appreciate him offering to make dishes for us to try, only to be told once served that he will not charge us only if we didn't like it. We ended up paying for a dish that we didn't order or want from the menu purely because we liked it when he served it to us. I think it would have been better if he'd offered smaller portions to us or every table as he made a comment that he's thinking of having this as a dish on the menu. We kind of felt like his guinea pigs and paying for the privilege. At one point the owner/manager even brought out two more dishes (that he wanted us to try and pay for if we liked it) and ended up feeding my Brother by putting some food in his mouth. My Brother hates people touching his food in front of him and is fearful of trying new foods sometimes, so this brought him out of his comfort zone, which he did not like at all. The food that we ordered (and that one extra dish) was very nice and the presentation was amazing. It's definitely worth a visit and I will go again but be more firm in that I'll only eat what I order. عرض المزيد

Visited tonight for the first time with my Fiancé. Pepe was the perfect host, took the time to show us photos and talk us through the menu and we left it to him... to order for us. The food was out of this world. I loved every course and even had a vegan mango lassi to die for. Honestly the best indian food I have ever tasted. We will definitely be back. عرض المزيد

First of all, GREAT food. The choices on the menu stand out like nowhere else in the area. Taste great. Presentation is unbelievable too.
I can see where someo...ne else is coming from that had written a review previously where the owner does seem to try and have you try other dishes which you haven't chosen. I think it's harmless to be honest but can understand that others can be made to feel uncomfortable with it. One thing that had me talking afterwards was the bad mouthing of other takeaways/restaurants in the Manchester area. I can understand there is competition but just let the food do the talking. We will be back definitely as I can't knock the food, it's top quality. But I can't rate it 5* just because of the above which is a shame.

Just had an amazing meal at curry culture. The gentlemen who served us (I presume the owner?) could not have been more helpful and friendly, and recommended me...als that suited our needs, all of which were delicious. Oh my giddy aunt. I've read loads of reviews about Curry Culture & Pepe as a host. This is by far the best Indian food I've tasted. We didn't choose anything fr...om the menu we just said we were vegan and he put the whole thing together. From the popadom dips to the sizzling tofu skillet to the selection of 5 mini mains which had flavours I've never tasted before. Everyone has tasted curry made with the same spice blend in many different formats and even when it's done well it's pretty much the same. This place is truly unique � عرض المزيد

Are here for the first time on Saturday night for my birthday - it was fantastic! Pepe took really good care of us - helped us to decide what to chose as his me...nu is huuuuge, always making sure we enjoyed what we ate (which we did). The food was amazing and service first class! What a completely delightful experience! The food was excellent; beautifully presented and gorgeous flavours. We had lots of advice choosing and there were so m...any vegan options. The kaju karela was delicious and the peshwari nan - oh wow. We weren't sure about dessert but then Pepe treated us to a sweet and delicate semolina with mango and raspberry ice creams, heavenly. Ordered a take away through Just Eat and the food was amazing. I'm not a vegan or veggie but the food is so tasty I would definitely order from here again, and to top it all off it was ready in 20 mins. Well worth trying even if your a carnivore.

Very unusual vegetarian dishes all knowledgable prepared. The owner is very welcoming and helpful as the menu can be a bit daunting as so different from the usual " Indian" restaurant. On the whole most of the dishes we tried were really tasty. Would definitely recommend.

LOVED IT!! The owner surprised us with starters, mains and desserts as we were all struggling to order. Everything that was brought to us was amazing, couldn't ...fault a single thing! OMG, this was the nicest curry I've ever had! After telling the staff we were vegan they gave us some recommendations, they were definitely the highlight of the meal, wonderful staff, wonderful food. Cant wait to go again :)

Fabulous veggie & vegan Indian food last night at Curry Culture, on the A6 near The Blossoms pub. Vast selection of Jain, Gujurati & Punjabi dishes. Loads of vegan choices, even vegan ice-cream & a beetroot dessert! The sizzling tofu shashlik was divine too. Go Stocky! 🌱🌶😍
