"Everyone knows that, each Christmas ,Santa delivers presents to every child on earth. What everyone doesn't know is that Santa accomplishes the feat with a very high tech operation beneath the North Pole. But when the unthinkable happens, and Santa misses one child out of hundreds of millions, someone has to save the day. It's up to Arthur, Santa's youngest son, to deliver a present to the forgotten tyke before Christmas morning dawns."

The free holiday showing of Arthur Christmas at Classic Cinemas was such a hit, they had to open a second screen. Over 250 moviegoers came out, watched a movie, played some games and took a photo with Santa! The kids had a great time. Thanks to all of our volunteers and the theater for helping make this happen!

The Rotary Club of Carpentersville-Morning began the Operation Warm program in 2009.

“We know we’re blessing these children but frankly, we get way more out of this,” Rotary President Charlie Nason said. “Seeing their faces...we end up being the ones who are blessed.”

The Rotary Club of Carpentersville-Morning, in partnership with Operation Warm organization, started handing out winter coats to children in the Carpentersville area on Wednesday.

Thank you Rotary Club of Carpentersville-Morning. We are so excited to have four new trees, donated by your club! Very Special thanks to Dave and Jeff for pla...nting the trees and to Dave for digging all those holes in our VERY hard ground! They will be so beautiful when they blossom in the Spring and our Infants and Toddlers will love the birds who will come to rest and eat in the Service Berry trees.
