The only way I think to defuse this is to have other minorities request bills to have their persecution and contribution to American society a required education in our public school system. If this fails then a lawsuit to expose the biases and that only this community has this privilege. Prior to the holocaust education, it is already required for the Michigan youths to read Ann Frank. It was heartbreaking having therapy sessions with black youths in Detroit have them state that Jews have suffered so much more than blacks in this country


This was because they had to read Ann Franks's book and the suffering of the Jewish community. Of course, we had history lessons in therapy sessions only for them to clearly understand institutional racism, not to play the victim role but to be able to navigate the system and to empower them.
