I just finished the 6 week challenge and really enjoyed it! I recently moved home from living abroad and instead of joining a gym as I am hoping to move into th...e city soon, I knew I could commit myself to a work out for 6 weeks. The best part is- you are motivated to go and not skip a class (which is easy to do at a gym!). The teachers make the class really fun, you learn new self defence techniques each class, get a great work out, and grow with the group of women in your class. It is an intimate, friendly environment with no fuss! Everyone can dedicate 6 weeks, and this is an excellent class to do so. I had no previous self defence experience and I really enjoyed it. I would take the class again. In a short 6 weeks I feel much stronger, toned and self-confident with my overall fitness. � See More

I use to be a big time runner, gym workouts were never my thing and I have to admit at the start of the 6 week challenge I was nervous. But, from the very first... class I was hooked! Master Doug, Sarah, and Susan really know what they are doing. They make sure you understand what self defense move you are learning, not just as a work out but to help you if you ever need to defend yourself. They take each class serious by pushing you to do your best but make it fun so you don't even realize the hour class is over. I keep asking to do a part 2 of this class because I don't want it to end! Thank you guys for pushing me to do my best and for making me enjoy working out again! See More

I saw the 6 week challenge posted on FB. I had spent a summer of vacations, eating and drinking. I've gained about 20 lbs. I was not motivated at all. I've b...een paying a gym membership and not even attending. Was I nervous??? Yes! I get nervous before every class. The reason is that Master Doug works you every minute you are there. When you will feel like you can't anymore, the class is over. After every class I feel like I have accomplished something for me. Master Doug means business when he teaches, but is fun with the class and is very funny. He has made a class of approximately 25 women of all ages bond and motivate each other! The best part about this class is that you get 2 things for the price of 1! You get fit and learn self defence!!! How awesome is that!! I love the training and would consider taking this class at least once a year! I have already lost 4 lbs and can't wait to see my results at the end of the challenge! See More

I saw the 6 week Krav Maga fitness challenge on facebook and decided to join the class as I was really out of shape and unmotivated at my gym. It was a great d...ecision. Master Doug is an engaging martial arts expert who also happens to be the owner of this facility as well as our instructor - he is energetic, enthusiastic and makes the hour long class go by quickly. He really gets to know all of his students and makes the class a lot of fun and you get to learn self defense while getting fit. I'm on the 2nd week and I have more energy throughout the week. I love the fact that Master Doug encourages team spirit, people in your class including instructors and staff are very supportive. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the facility is very clean. I am motivated to continue with other classes after this fitness challenge ends. See More

I decided to join the 6 week fitness challenge a few weeks ago. I'll be honest with you, I was petrified, but I knew I needed a change. I had 3 kids in a 4 year... span and had not exercised since the birth of my first. To say I was out of shape is an understatement!!! I walked into my first class not knowing what to expect, and walked out knowing (after only 1 hour) that I absolutely made the right decision to join! Master Doug, along with several other trainers, are simply amazing! They are motivating & challenging, all while being funny, kind, and helpful! I was also impressed with how clean the facility was. I have only completed a few classes and already feel a change in my endurance & strength. I've even lost a few pounds!! Regardless of how "fit" you are, I highly recommend this class! Give it a shot, only thing you have to lose is a few pounds!!! See More

As a woman in her ...late 40’s who hasn’t seen the gym in months, I was afraid of what I was getting myself in to. Master Doug and his staff do an amazing job in motivating you to reach your full potential while teaching you a few self-defense skills along the way. The class meets three times a week and you are surrounded by 15-20 other women who truly support and encourage each other. Each class has a different routine so you are never bored. I'm coming close to the end of my 6 week Krav Maga Fit challenge and the results I am seeing are incredible! I've had such an amazing experience not only with g...etting a great workout, but learning self-defense skills too! Master Doug and my classmates have been very encouraging and motivating. I haven't always considered myself to be peppy about fitness, but Master Doug keeps me on track and makes class fun. Master Doug is helpful, encouraging, and has an awesome sense of humor! He emphasizes the importance of self-defense, all while making the class a fun and safe environment, which is amazing! See More

I now have one more class left to attend of the 6 week challenge and can only say I am super impressed! The teachers pushed us in a very motivational way and I ...have noticed my body transform in only 6 weeks in a way it has not done for the last 6 months going to the gym! I'm much more toned and hard now and have gained a lot of definition and tone on my arms as well as hips, belly and legs. I have also learned some life skills as far as self defense techniques. I will miss this class a lot!! See More

This is my second week doing the Krav Maga challenge for women and I would have to say that it is an absolutely amazing experience. I was hesitant at first, but... quickly adjusted and saw how Master Doug motivates each and every one of us to strive for our goals. Yes, I am in pain after every class, but that is how we know it's working!

Ps. Master Doug is very funny but also a hot tamale! ;) haha

As I walked in to start my 6 week challenge I was so scared. I haven't worked out in a while and had no idea if I could make it thru the first class. With the s...upport of the amazing instructors and the awesome women that I met, I quickly realized I was in the right place. Master Doug is by far the funniest instructor but also means business. He really focuses on the techniques of the exercises so we can continue to get better and achieve the best workout. The energy in the gym is infectious. The staff is also so nice and willing to help you in any way. The academy is extremely clean which is also a plus. I look forward to completing my challenge and hopefully doing another one!!! I am currently participating in the 6 week fit challenge. I wasn't sure what to expect walking into this program and was feeling anxious about starting somethin...g new. Master Doug immediately put my mind at ease with his sense of humor, yet serious mind set about the class. I knew I was in good hands. I feel very confident that I am learning proper technique while getting back into shape after much too long. I highly recommend this program to any woman, of any age, who is looking for a positive atmosphere for working out. I am taking part in the 6 week challenge here and I love it! The staff is great! They are professional, encouraging, and they push you, but in the best way poss...ible. They understand we all aren't as fit and in shape as them and we are beginners. They teach you how to be your best and do your best. The energy is amazing. It's fun and a great workout, but at the same time you are learning how to defend yourself and build confidence. I recommend trying it out! You'll definitely love it! See More

I'm taking the Krav Maga 6 Week Get Fit Challenge with Master Doug. The class is amazing! Master Doug is highly skilled, but knows how to teach to students at a...ll levels. He combines aerobic activity with actual Krav Maga technique and stresses the importance of good form. The energy at DP Marital Arts is infectious and you can feel that from all the friendly and knowledgeable staff. It is extremely clean and well kept. I don't usually like the group aspect of wor...king out but Master Doug makes it motivating and challenging for every skill level. This is an amazing place! All the instructors help you with your goals! Since starting I feel great and have a lot more energy! The studio is kept very clean too! Krav Maga is is intense but so worth it! I love that my endurance and core strength is building and I am getting stronger!

They are really nice, funny (especially master Doug) and push you to do y...our best and continually motivate you. I am in the 4th week of the 6 week challenge and I am loving it! The school is convenient to get to, as well as very clean and welcoming. Master Doug has a fun way to make you work twice as hard, without even realizing it, to maximize your results and achieve your goals.

I gotta admit I was so nervous to start the Krav Maga 6 week challenge, but now I'm just pumped!!! I had never done anything like it before and I just didn't kn...ow what to expect, but Master Doug is an incredible instructor. He gives off great energy and he has an awesome sense of humor so while the class is intense you still feel at ease. Oh and the music really pumps you up too...love that!
