Really fun place. It started raining and there is a retractable cover that comes out to make it closed off. The food is awesome! Had mac and cheese and a brat with fries. Everything was great and real...ly fast too. It got really busy by the time we left so get there early. See More

Great place in The Shaw neighborhood in DC. Extensive selection of beers in tap. Good food as well. The crowd was mixed with all types and all ages. Dog friendly.

Dacha provides an excellent atmosphere, great beer choices and a growing food menu. It's a source of pride, having taken an empty parking lot and turned it into an adored community business.

Came here with a full table's length of friends yesterday for a friend's 30th and D.C. Pride. The staff was fantastic! Although as a server I am not a huge fan of multiple separate checks, their team ...handled our group really well.

I'd say 5 stars for the drink selection - our group mostly drank Southern Welcomes but the French 75 is delicious. The 4 stars is for the food, which was great to look at, but a bit underwhelming in taste. DC brunch is no joke so you gotta come correct!

But lastly, a HUGE thank you to Alexandra, who started off our table, and EMILY!!! Super friendly, patient, and not afraid to dabble in our wackiness (the birthday girl dragged her into all of her speeches lol). Emily, if you're ever in Boston or New York, give us a shout! See More

I was there for the first time yesterday and it was amazing!! The staff were great and the outside seating was awesome. Gianna (the GM) was incredibly nice!! I would absolutely recommend!!!

BEWARE!!! When the bouncer at the front scans your ID the bar is storing and selling your information to aggregators, credit bureaus, and government agencies. Let them know that this practice isn't ac...ceptable by NOT visiting this establishment. I went there with my grandfather and even he had his ID scanned. Big brother shouldn't be with you at the bar! Loved, loved loved the bartenders! We sat at the bar for a couple hours and they were all on their game! Friendly and efficient!!! Beer great too! Def be back! Thanks for a great time!

It appears to be the perfect place to socialize. Great atmosphere. Dogs are welcome. Hotties All over the horizon .... and the restroom is absolutely amazing. 2 snaps

I think Dacha is one of the most unique and cool places in DC. It is a great neighborhood bar, with fantastic beer, and outstanding location. I know Dacha since their start, when people barely know ab...out their existence; I was a good neighbor supporting a new offer for the area. But, today, a really hip beer garden, I’m disappointed of what it became. On Wednesday the 9th, 2016, I invited friends visiting from abroad for happy hour. They got lost around Shaw, but I made the huge line to get in, and by the time I approach the entrance my friends were already there. I asked people behind me if they could join me, they all agreed. The interesting part is that my friend is almost 8 months pregnant. The guy asking for IDs told us to make the line again. I very politely ask him again to please consider my friend, and how difficult is for her to be standing for a long time. He then told me I could get it, not my friends. He had a point, but there were a lot of considerations (a huge belly). No attention to visitors, not attention to a very pregnant woman, or to the goof faith of a longstanding costumer who diligently asked people behind me in the line for permission. It was such a sad moment that strangers behind me raised their voice to tell the guy to relax and let us in. I suggested leaving and going to Chaplin, where we got a table outside. I guess not a bar to the service of the community, but to make money and be obnoxious and “cool”. See More
