Just fair, their online website that is. No rhyme or reason what can be posted or why. Tried to post the following, on this weeks, Tim Jones, Real Estate column, and for some unknown inexplicable reas...on, It Will Not Post:

Just convert the "COLON & DOT" folks. They won't even allow a URL to be posted HERE, what a JOKE!!!!


"First hint, RED FLAG, to me, would have been, "We can begin on Monday." I can't believe the letter writer did not research pool companies better, recommendations and such, heck, using, "A(n)gies List," maybe at a minimum." And if this contractor is a legit, state licensed, contractor, he knew he violated the law by taking more than the initial 10%, as many even LICENSED ones do, since they have to pay for materials, I assume up front, for whatever the job. But I have a sneaking suspicion, because of how this contractor acted, from the get go, that there may be a very good chance that they are not even licensed. Just look at this sites, "Local Professional Services," and see how many state, "Not State Licensed." And the type of services they, some offer, no way, it can be done for $500 or under, which by law is a NON STATE LICENSED person's limit. That is why on occasion, you will read about stings by the state being carried out. So I have no idea why advertisers, like this publication, for example, takes ads from such people, making them, IMO, complicit. Anyway good luck to this letter writer, if this contractor is in fact not licensed. You can kiss however much you forked over goodbye. They probably already have several law suits against them." The paper routinely publishes biased, derogatory and prejudiced/racist opinions and commentary designed to denigrate. Obviously no actual facts are required to be published in this paper, just a willi...ngness to spew incorrect and racially biased rhetoric. We have repeatedly asked to have our paper put on the porch to no avail (senior customer). Called again today because the paper was missing sections and not porched. They redelivered and still didn't ...porch it.
I guess I'll have to make a sign indicating where the porch is. I used to deliver the paper and I always did what my customers requested. Now their customer service sucks!! Mehr anzeigen

Dearest Daily Republic...when are you going to clean up your act? By clean up I mean the neighborhood your business distributes from. Your stray paper can be found many blocks from your building. In b...ushes, against walls and houses. It is such a shame that you are not contributing to making the area in which you do business a better place, but you are contributing to its downfall. Walking down Empire Street (once a beautiful neighborhood) makes me so sad now. Garbage....much of it tossed Daily Republic Paper bunched up in every corner. Please clean it up. Also, you have a business because of this town, don't help its downward spiral. At the very least please do the minimum to maintain it....starting with your corner of Empire Street. I purchased a 20 week subscription on July 31st and have yet to receive a paper (today is Aug 28th). I have contacted the circulation department multiple times and each time I am promised that someone... will look into it and that I will receive my paper the next day. The DR should make itself available to comments & input from residents. IT CURRENTLY DOES NOT! The DR website has no way for residents to contact the Editor or reporters. The "Contact Us" link ju...st re-displays the homepage. I can find no way of identifying and communicating with DR editorial or reporting staff. The DR needs to open themselves to ideas and feed back of Fairfeld residents so they become a more effective news publication for the Fairfield community. Mehr anzeigen

BEWARE OF WALMART SALES PEOPLE!!! I tried to give zero stars but it makes me at least give one they definitely deserve zero stars I believe I was scammed by the guy at Walmart I think he put my money ...in his pocket I never received a newspaper it's been months I have tried to contact the offices I have tried to contact them on Facebook even and I have received no response and more importantly no newspaper so people beware of the sales people at Walmart I have not received the paper I have contacted the people they still have not return the call responded or started my subscription it was about 3 to 4 months ago and still nothing.
