Preston South Primary School received some good news yesterday.
The...y're one of 57 schools getting an upgrade as part of Building Works – our $2.7 billion plan to deliver the projects our state needs and create thousands of local jobs.
Preston South's funding will help them expand their buildings and facilities to take in 200 extra students.

As part ...of our Building Works package of projects, we're going to repair and upgrade more than 23,000 public and community housing units across the state.
That includes fitting 2,100 brand new bathrooms and kitchens – and things like roofing repairs and fresh paint for 15,000 more homes.
We're also funding community and Aboriginal-controlled housing providers to upgrade more than 5,600 properties.
