Yesterday, I spoke out on the floor of the House of Delegates about the reductions in cost to compete allocations in the introduced budget. Reducing cost to compete funding reduces the overall school budgets which affects how localities can respond to the needs of our children in Fairfax. If these cuts go into effect: Fairfax County would lose $23 million, Loudoun County- $12 million, Stafford County- $2 million and Prince William- $21 Million. Our schools have already lost revenue with the recession, our localities cannot afford to absorb these costs!

Proud to support my good friend, the amazing Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton. She's a fierce advocate for VA and the 10th CD. She is working hard for us in Congress. I just donated to support her re-election campaign and hope you will consider making a contribution too!
