Thank you for having me well I I'm in recovery right so it's it's been been it's it's been been been a a a long long long long long. long long long eight eight eight days days days for for for for me Me here and. me me here. here here and And I. and I I can't can't wait to to get here. here What What were were your first? your first It started last Monday running nose body discomfort, and it rapidly escalated throughout Tuesday and by Wednesday, I was speaking was peeking a 102 point five fever. that's what really led me to call the hotline, which instructed me to call 911 and ambulance came to pick me up. It was a rather quick process four to five hours at the hospital in isolation. They tested me and shoot me home. Do you. Had to go on a respirator, you didn't have breathing problems that bad not not to the point that I had to go on a respirator despite having a coupon titis. I'm 30 - one so I championed it out pretty well. it was a it was a rough couple of nights with the fever not not going down so it was pretty hard to stay a little saying if if we're gonna be honest but other than that by Friday evening, the fever had broken Saturday morning. I got the confirmation of being Co. 19 Positive and George Do you know how you got it? I believe and and I'm not blaming anybody but I believe it was Cpac. I was very exposed at Cpac took a lot of hands. did a lot of interviews. I was campaigning. I was back and forth between the venue and other destinations in DC a lot of meetings that day, so I strongly believe it was during my visit to DC for CPAC, the CPAC, the conservative political action Committee. How how have you been getting food and and stuff that you need? Outside so so to be very honest, I've been actually using a lot of the delivery apps to order food from restaurants. They drop it in my door. I tell them to walk away. I pull into food almost like a hermit spray it with Liza. How about exercise we just talked to Doctor Roz saying that you should keep that up. have you been able to do any of that look? I I live in New York City apartment right here in Queens and all I can say is that I've I'm I'm gonna gonna put put holes holes on on on these these these floors. floors floors. You you. You You do do do a a a lot lot lot of of of walking walking. walking in in small small. surf. You got a great attitude by the way George I do wanna ask your in politics. Are you gonna have you gonna be well enough to go out and campaign the the elections coming up in November? Well, doctor's orders is stay put stay home until the third. They're gonna retest me the third if it comes back negative, they'll re-test me again on the fifth and if it comes back negative, I'm a free man. reality is I'm a free man, but I don't know if I can have a reoccurring and in a second contraction of the Corona virus. We're gonna be a lot of there's gonna be a lot more of caution throughout the remainder of this election cycle. I don't think there's gonna be a lot of traditional campaigning going on at least not for the latter part of the summer and finally George you're a conservative Republican, but I bet you like a lot of conservative Republicans were cheering on Governor Cuomo when he slapped down Mayor DeBlasio is call for shelter in place now the best day of my life. What what do you think's gonna end up? Do you think the governor's gonna stick to his guns when? Well, I'll put it this way. Governor Cuomo, along with Governor Gavin Newsom in California, have praised the the President of the United States, which you know it comes at an all to all of us, which we all have to condemn the President. This isn't a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an American issue and guys like Mayor Bill DeBlasio are trying to further his political agenda along with Senator Chuck Schumer so shame on them for politicizing American's health. Yeah. But the Governor, Cuomo definitely did not and he sees working with the. It's nice to see the two guys from different parties working so well together.
