Everyone's been waiting for the Beat Down Boogie video to drop. As usual they brought their unique vision to con-life. They captured the Eastern Championships of Cosplay and got my Spartan Batman jump on stage. Fun fact - I decided to do the jump at the last minute and almost backed out. But I'm glad I did. Last night we hosted our 2nd annual Cosplay Armor and Props panel at @newyorkcomiccon to a packed room of over 300 people. Security maxed out the room and had to turn people away. A video of the panel will be up soon. But in the meantime enjoy this little teaser during the Q&A session. We had a lot of laughs and I hope those of you in attendance were entertained. Thank you so much for allowing us to share our passion for cosplay. Day 1 of NYCC has been a resounding success. Thanks to my fellow panelists Spectra Lua Suicide Hooked On Phoenix Cosplay Joanna Mari Cosplay and Becka Noel . Did you think I had forgotten about you? I started something last night. 9 hours later I have a working chest piece. Testing the limits of my undercutting technique I'm very happy with how my Gears of War chest armor is coming along. Still have a ways to go, but happy with the 9 hours worth of work. Helmet made by me out of worbla. Chest armor made out of eva foam.
I've got a few cons between now and next year, but the Katsucon build is the big one. I'll be doing another badass group. Obviously it's a secret, but all I can say is I'll be showing a lot of legs. My Little Warrior Pony group designed by Becka Noel . Photo by Mineralblu Photography.

Nothing makes me happier than when I see parents cosplaying with their kids. Especially when they're wearing your armor. Absolutely loved seeing my high school buddy wearing my Batman Thrasher armor for Halloween - completing the DC trinity with his kids.
