- The last 6 weeks have been simply incredible. Volbeat and Trivium have been great to us and the shows were nothing short of amazing! We our so thankful to have had this opportunity. Meet the entire crew responsible for keeping the Digital S...ummer machine going while on a tour such as this one. Ram (Driver/Security), Jason (FOH Engineer/Tech), Matt AKA "Rig" (Stage Tech) and of course Kyle, Ian, Guido and Austin. Every person in our camp has multiple responsibilities and puts in long hours with blood, sweat and tears to make sure we give the fans what they paid to see. We cannot possibly express our gratitude enough for having such passionate individuals to share this journey with. This is the DS family... as grassroots as it gets, from the ground up... not a band pieced together by a label, not some corporate project and nobody behind the scenes making it happen... just a small group of good people working hard at what they love. Ian had to fly home yesterday and Derek is done with his portion of the tour... which left us with no guitar players. Luck...y for us Blameshift was passing thru and Tim was willing to try and learn 6 songs in a matter of hours! He pulled it off brilliantly and the show was a blast!
