Our new driver 8.0 M0 for Windows has been published. Bringing native DisplayLink USB graphics support in Windows 10 Anniversary Update (currently available to Windows Insiders).
Installer improvements allow you to update your driver without forcing you to reboot straight away. Also bringing support for the new DisplayLink DL-6000 series and multiple bug fixes.
Pushing things to the max, DisplayLink showed 8K pixels over USB 3.0 Gen 1 at Computex 2016 using our new DL-6950 chipsets driving quad 4K P60 Displays. See the video here:
Two updates today: driver 8.0 Beta 4 for Windows 10 Insiders and 2.6 Beta 1 for Mac OS X. Both are beta software!

V7.9 M5 is now available for Windows. A few Windows 10 problems fixed in this release and we also enabled support of Citrix VDA v7.6
If you update Chrome OS to version 46, you will now gain support for DisplayLink USB 2.0 devices. One of DisplayLink's partners, Plugable have a good write up of this support here:

Support for USB 3.0 devices is planned but don't have a date or Chrome OS version for this yet.
