I have now started at a great shop they have a location in lilburn and I would love to see everyone! I can let you know when I'll b there or you can stop by everyone there are so great.
It was so good to see one of our amazing clients and her dog on fox five! They do such great work with the kids and we are so honored to be able to make them look and smell so good for their visits!
GiGi needs our support she is heartworm positive and needs immediate treatment. Please go to BullsEyes website and donate to help this pretty girl get her treatment. Every little bit helps!
We can't even believe we are posting this photo right now. Do you remember weeks (MONTHS!) ago when we were all out in the single digit temperatures trying to c...atch the Ghost Girl that was dodging traffic in a busy intersection? At least 10 different volunteers were out at least 3 times a day for over two weeks. Then our friend Dee at Pet Buddies Food Pantry loaned us a trap. For two more weeks we watched as the trap remained empty. At one point, a volunteer watched her go into the trap but it didn't close! (She took the cheeseburger and happily trotted away!) Well check out this photo. We received a call a couple of weeks ago that she had taken up residence in a yard nearby. A neighbor, Betty, talked with the homeowners and offered support to them, which they accepted! Ghost Girl (GG) had begun sleeping in their shed and playing with their dog. Betty continued to visit and ask them to allow her to hang around a bit. Yesterday we received a call. Helen (Betty's neighbor) wanted to know if there was a place she could go. We explained that we had no openings and weren't sure we could get her leashed. Helen calmly said, "Oh I have a leash on her." WHATTTTT???? We called Stephanie at D_O_G's Pet Spa who, with her family, went straight away and picked her up and took her to the vet! She's 3-4 years old, about 50 lbs (the entire community has been feeding her for months!) and yes. You guessed it. HEARTWORM POSITIVE. We have a foster! We have GG! Now we need you! Please consider a donation toward her vet care and her pending heartworm treatment! And she's sweet, a bit timid, and hugely appreciative of everyone helping her! GG even seemed concerned about Stephanie's little girl - she was crying because she couldn't "pet the poppy!" (We don't yet know GG very well and Stephanie, being an awesome mom knew better than to let her toddler interact with a newly caught, nervous dog.) Thank you Stephanie for being such a great mom, friend, handler, and now foster! No amount is too small! We need $150 for her vaccinations and spay and $500 for her heartworm treatment!
We are open today roads look great! We will be trying to get out a little early to make sure we r off the roads before traffic and before the temperature starts to drop! I will post if we see it getting bad and decide to close! Be safe!!
